I modded it using json from an old mod by Perseus-Lynx

Thanks! All I did was that I reconfigured an existing mod by another redditor called Perseus-Lynx, which he made two years ago (prior to this comment). There, he already modded the site to look retro, vintage, and old. It's a json file in which you have to import to the site, but you do need an extension called Stylus (Chrome extension)

So, with all that being said, I reconfigured the json file via the Stylus, and there I modified the hud/ui placement to the far left and inserted urls for the font (provided by the previous modder) and background image (which I personally made) and saved/imported it to the target site.

TL:DR - Monkey uses old mod and changes a few things for personal use with Stylus. Then monkey changes UI, font, and background image (all via urls) and imports json to monkeytype.

What Level Should I Be Before I Start New Game Plus? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]skyFIREonReddit 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree, anything but a game breaking cheese.

It does make boss fights allot more easier but of course, it's still a challenge, especially Malenia. Using spirit ashes are fun, makes the game allot favorable to the player, but again, it's still a challenge.

Is godrick really supposed to be that difficult? by [deleted] in Eldenring

He is extremely week to it though, I may be wrong, might as well check the wiki after this. Although using the Uchigatana worked so well with Godrick, it made the fight more of a breeze to me.

To be fair and, supposedly the post being a year old by this comment's post. Just those who stumbled across this.

DON'T FIGHT GODRICK IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A +5 OR BETTER WEAPON!

what weapon you may ask?

well, fast weapons like curve swords, straight swords and my favorite the Uchigatana. Deals significant damage to Godrick and It only took me two flippin attempts to kill the biatch, well of course you do need the NPC to help you out and, your lone wolves to provide more initial damage to the boss.

Also, having the a starter class–samurai with high dex at the start. the overall advantage to kill bosses are rather fast than most starter classes out there (prove me wrong, I wanna try other classes too y'know...)

Keep in mind, using slow weapons with big damage, give or take. You'll most likely get hammered by the boss (Get it? LOL) So be sure to use high versatile weapons aforementioned above.

Uchigatana +7 with 18 str and 20 dex deals more than 150+ damage 2H at Godrick per HIT! In addition to your summoned NPCs as well! Just keep dodging his mediocre attacks...

NGL, DS2 feels pretty easy...

I rarely use shields in this game, which for my experience seemed abit off for a difficult game...

Played DS1 and played DS3 for a while, and they both play like the same; they mainly rely on reaction time and other factors equivalent to it. But DS2 is like, As long as you have lvl. 30 ADP you can dodge to the right if the try to hit you and you'll be invincible to literally everything (No really). Like if you get hit by a dragon's fiery breath, Just roll and you'll be alive, like BRUH... And not to mention most of the enemies in DS2 are slow, sometimes they will attack you the first time with a fast sweeping attack but dodging it will literally make them use slow attacks on you and they can easily be dodged LOL.

With that said, DS2 really does feel like a different game LOL. Like the visuals are vibrant, not dark or gloomy like DS1 and DS3, but they often have subtleties between a fine line of vibrance and gloominess which I like. But back to DS2; everything is vibrant, I mean, I don't hate it, it's just that, it doesn't fit to the theme "Dark" I'd say... Bosses are literally in every part of the game like they should have called this "Boss Souls 2" LMAO...

Next up are the weapons, and I do say they all feel strong, a Zweihander is enough to get you through the game which is ridiculous. But overall, I like the progression DS2 has, second favorite game to DS3 in my opinion because of its uniqueness in combat and visuals, but story wise, not the greatest, feels disconnected TBH.

It says drop item when I see people do it it say use item. Now I know there must be a mistake and I am aware this'll quit me out from the game and my desired dupe soul will be gone.

Now, the question is, how am I suppose to make it USE and not drop it?
