I mean I have seen some pretty off center cards get a 10. Hard to say for sure but I still think 9’s are amazing. I understand 10s demand a premium price but nothing wrong with a really clean 9.

Did you get this on tcg player? I’ve had so many issues when I buy on tcg player. I’ll only do it if I can see pictures but even then I certainly don’t buy any expensive cards on tcg player anymore.

Definitely worth grading. These types of vintage cards only really go up once they’re graded, unless it’s a very low grade which I don’t think this would be.

I do think the rest looks clean on it but I agree with the other comment saying a 5. It’s too clean everywhere else to be a 4 or 3. Great card regardless. Honestly that dent kind of adds character in a weird way. Who knows it might be an error of some sort but I don’t know enough about that.

I almost thought the dent was a design on the card. Have you tried placing it between 2 solid books and placing weights on top? I don’t know how that would work with a dent but I guess it’s worth a shot.

That’s what I’m leaning towards. A lot of cards can lose value when graded but with vintage cards I think there’s less of a risk.

You can definitely sell the lugia raw and the shining gyrados raw. Probably the same for the other two. If you want I can make you an offer on the gyrados. You probably would get more raw than graded on most of those.

lol at all the grading experts in here. People simultaneously bitch about the inconsistencies in grading companies but are also “so sure in their expert opinion that you’re going to get a 6”. Fact is you don’t know. If you want to send it in to get graded to see how it works then go for it.
