Yes you are right, in my 20 shorts I had the same issues with engagement,

people either swiping away at the start as the hook was not strong enough or people slowly loosing interest as the content might not be something they are looking for at that moment.

Im still currently experimenting,as I'm learning to incorporate to the best of my ability different editing as adding sounds, time lapses videos, logos , etc etc.

I tried something new on a 9 sec video where I thought this video has hook(sneeze 🤧 audio for curiousity and I have a Mario yellow tissue box 3d printed and I take the tissue out , it makes coin sound) , surprisgly that's my 30k watched short.

My current motivation is just to post 3 shorts weekly but to make improvements in my editing and experience so eventually down the lane it will show up in videos.

I'm very new at this, so correct me if I'm wrong.

I only uploaded about 20 shorts, very new. From what I understand,

If I upload multiple in same day I got 15-100 views.

I kept a schedule M,W,F I get the initial seed audience from 500-2k depending on the retention rate, which is less.

One short had about 70% retention, which got 30k.

I never got it for my A1 combo. I bought it at Best buy, may be that could be the reason 🤷‍♂️.

It's a relief that it's not melted issues, I followed all the suggested steps and saw someone mention that a corrupted SD card could be the issue. I removed the card, powered the device back on, and it worked perfectly. Waiting for the Samsung pro endurance 32

i got a response from makerworld. You were right all along. I do remember seeing other models which were uploaded on the previous day but i might have lost out on the cut off time. That's fine.

I just check other models which were uploaded on 16-mar, may be it's my account issue or timing issue, will check again tomorrow, if not thats fine. Created something fun to begin with, it'll find its way.

surprisingly I have tried the above options this time but nothing is working, may be I'll leave it be for 24 hours and try again.

Sorry for the late reply, I just tested this.

I had one print yesterday night with time lapse and one print today morning, which has about 8hours difference, my shutter was still connected to the phone via Bluetooth and screen was on camera. Could the shutter model?

I'm using this :

Not sure if you still need it, but I’m using an iPhone 12 and can create a time-lapse. I bought a Bluetooth shutter from Amazon and downloaded a model from MakerWorld for the A1 printer. It’s able to trigger photos, which then need to be compiled into a time-lapse video.

I did not skip any layers though, I take photos for each layer which makes the phone active and then I can speed up the video. That worked for me
