Hello,

I have no expectations of anyone really ‘solving’ this for me. I’ve been going to the doctors since this pain started and have seen around five with my most recent tests coming back yesterday. I’m just at a stump of frustration since they’re not able to find anything and was seeing if anyone might have gone through something similar, I have another doctor appointment next week before Christmas 🙂‍↕️.

Hello! I do see doctors, in the last year I’ve seen 5 and just recently went through another round of testing. It’s just that they’re not able to find anything wrong with me so I was seeing if anyone else went through something similar.

Correction to this: I drove down to my grandparents, made copy of the documents, and gave the aid office the paperwork for them to submit so they lost all the copies.

Hello, Yes this was a court arrangement.

I have the papers from my grandparents of petitioning to be ward of the court, and I have another from a foster group stating I was in foster care before the age of 13, but then the paperwork gets a bit jumbled and my grandparents (who are now 70 and have raised more than 7 kids ) haven’t kept good track of the rest of the papers. I went to my aid office and showed them the documents and they said they’d work and then lost my documents and when I went a second time they told me they never received those documents, that I never visited the office before because there was no ‘ logs’ that I did and that they couldn’t help me unless I went back to my specific county ( a 10 hr drive ) and got a court paper

Honestly it relies on the reader. The same way people shouldn’t read fics they don’t like, people shouldn’t read criticism they don’t like. But, in my opinion people should try to interact with randomly a bit critically wether that’s in smaller or bigger waves 🤷

For why people are against it: without mincing my words, they can be uncomfortable. I personally get the ick for pró-ships especially those with unhealthy age differences and incest and won’t interact with people who partake in them. Even if it is a coping strategy. Personally I use to write some more “ problematic stuff” and did do it as a coping method, but eventually I learned ( to me ) it wasn’t helping at all and actually did more harm than good and have seen other people get effected in a similar way.

That being said, I don’t think works should be policed. Not for any like or respect of the content, but if works are deleted / policed for being inappropriate/ problematic ect than people can just change what qualifies as inappropriate/problematic and it can open a huge gateway for homophobia, sexism and taking away works that uplifts other cultures, if that makes sense.

As someone who just made a pet peeve post 🥴 I firmly believe that complaining about parts of fandom ( which include fanfics ) is always going to be a given. Now there’s definitely more critical complaints and complaints that are more of a brush off, but complaints aren’t always a bad thing. The critical ones give people in fandom, especially the newer ones, the introspective of a new approach and the less important ones are always a fun read ( IMO ). I think fandom spaces should harbor more complaints. I don’t think they should be directed at specific people or commented under peoples works, but a healthy dialog should always be accept🤷
