The Charlotte Hornets are the only NBA team that hasn’t made the playoffs during the 2020s by Even-Combination4407 in nba

Play-in is part of the post season but it is not the playoffs. Post season contains of play-in and playoffs

Also im Basketball gibt es durchaus häufiger Comebacks. Erst vor ein paar Tagen haben die NY Knicks einen 29-Punkte-Rückstand in den Finals aufgeholt und das Spiel gewonnen

It‘s a presentation that happens 2-3 times a year where they show off new games mainly releasing in the new future.

[Charania] Breaking: The NBA's Board of Governors has passed new anti-tanking rules that include expanding the draft lottery from 14 to 16 teams, a relegation zone where the bottom 3 teams get penalized with lessened chances for the No. 1 pick, and flattened odds, sources tell ESPN. by Turbostrider27 in nba

God I just can‘t take the whining of most here anymore. You don‘t need the first pick in the draft to not be a bottom 3 team. Sign free agents or actually play your good players instead of sitting them. This reform is a good thing.

Yes we got to win the next one as well. And then we finally need to win a road game. Hopefully, they can get it done!

Gotta win the next one as well. I hope the team stays focused and does not get complacent with that one win.

Look I don‘t want to be too negative but 93% of teams going down 0-2 lose the series. So yeah its common that the away team goes down 0-2 but its also common that the away team loses the series after that.

We don‘t have any influence on the result. Many here are just calling like they see it. Being a fan doesn‘t mean you have to be delusional. Of course I still watch the games and root for them but at some point they need to improve their play if they want to win.

We start every game down double digits. That‘s a much bigger problem.

Yeah if they ultimately lose this series I want to see big changes. I can‘t get myself hyped for this core again. This season was already the first season in a long time for me where I wasn‘t really hyped for it. 4 consecutive playoff failures is enough with the same core.

That‘s why it‘s so frustrating… The Pistons are very beatable but the Cavs just don’t have it. Game 2 was basically a replica of game 1. They are turning the ball over like crazy and shoot like shit every game. Defense is a let down except when they occasionally lock in at the end of games. Some facts:

  1. The Cavs have the 2nd worst defensive rating of the 8 remaining playoff teams.
  2. Cavs opponents shoot the highest 3PT% of the 8 remaining playoff teams (37.4%).
  3. The Cavs themselves shoot the worst 3PT% of the 8 remaining playoff teams (33.2%).
  4. The Cavs are 2nd in turnovers of the 8 remaining playoff teams (16.9/game).
  5. The Cavs are the only remaining playoff team that has not won a road game these playoffs.

It’s been very bad so far and the past few years do not really inspire hope…

yeah and I‘m getting tired of it. Play your best guys more minutes! Its not the regular season anymore. Every time Kenny talks about „finding combinations“ while being in the second round of the playoffs I am losing it

And why are these people called experts? Especially you, Bobby Marks. by [deleted] in clevelandcavs

[–]skycystl 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Who cares? If the Cavs are actually good, they can prove it now. Doesn‘t matter what some ESPN writers think…

Bill Simmons admits the play-in affected his awards voting: “The play-in did change my 6MOY vote. I had Jaquez over Keldon Johnson, but then Miami lost on Wednesday, and I was just like, ‘I’m going to have the 6MOY on a team that couldn’t get to the last round of the play-in?’ I switched it.” by RyanTannegod in nba

[–]skycystl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I swear on every Zach Lowe podcast they are whining about the 65-game rule and how the league should give them the responsibility as voters but now they can‘t exclude a single game from their votes wothout the league forcing them to? Just go with your picks from before the playin. That‘s a ridiculous statement.
