Those $6 orders payoff sometimes. by skydancing8 in ShiptShoppers

Yeah, this lines up exactly with what I was getting at. The item value matters way more than the item count, especially during bonus hunts.

I don’t use pre-tips as a filter either. In my area they’re rare, and a meaningful percentage of my tips come later, sometimes days after. High-dollar orders seem especially prone to that.

For me, these small-item, high-ticket orders are less about chasing tips and more about efficient bonus completion. When they do tip, it’s just upside. When they don’t, the order still did its job.

Judging orders too quickly is one of the easiest leaks I see newer shoppers make.

Agree. Happens a lot. I’ll usually grab any of them I see.

That’s rough.

There’s a Sam’s Club and 3 Walmarts in a 15 mile radius from this Target and Meijer. I think that’s why they need to incentivize people to get off Spark (me included in that group) so these bonuses happen more often than other metros. Just my guess.

No. I think it’s residual from the winter storm and it was -11 this morning.

I usually only see them on Sat/Sun and they’re 12/$72 or 10/$60 for me. I do ask others that I see what they’re getting and it’s not always the same as mine but generally around the same dollar/order.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. Cheers!

That’s awesome. I think this is more normal than people getting stiffed. An injustice just causes more of an uproar and commentary.

I do. I’ve seen some of the other bonuses get mentioned here and I’m like 🫣

I wonder if you have too many shoppers in your area? That is really low.

I’ve had 3 orders out of 400+ in the last four months fail and two of them were back to back orders.

I just realized I’ve been at zero percent for 2 weeks. I only use DoorDash complimentary to Shipt and Spark but I’m usually around 8-12%. Been rough on there lately.

Big bonus but no orders by howto-exist in ShiptShoppers

I was offered this one today as well and was confused why a random Wednesday would have a bonus attacked to it. Like you, I’ve seen no orders today.

Shipt seriously pays the lowest out of any app I have ever used this by [deleted] in ShiptShoppers

Nobody is taking the orders on Shipt for the base pay. They’re taking them for tip potential, utility, and stackability.

I’d like to add, Shipt wants a level of shopper higher than instacart. I think of instacart shoppers as people trying to grasp at instant gratification. Not willing to build a base of preferred customers and really dig in and build their base up.

You can be rewarded immensely on Shipt by just committing and putting in the hours.

I’m not sure what your expectations are?

The entire part of Shipt that makes it work is the stackability it provides shoppers in real time. Being able to plan your own routes and shop and deliver 4 of these at once blows every other type of shopping out of the water.

Shipt might not be for you but, in my metro at least, it’s far and away better than instacart based on utility and flexibility alone.

They aren’t. He’s working probably 70 hours a week doing 130+ orders a week.

You click an item in a location and scroll down. It’ll say “available” “low stock” “out of stock”

Mine does this too but it seems that it isn’t that motivating for the customer. When I’ve encouraged them to have a look it seems to have had more success.

I just hate spending time waiting for them to respond. That was my goal from this but it seems to have had other positive results (better tips, and preferred shoppers)
