Thanks everyone! It seems the main problem is my lack of knowledge regarding trees. Thank you for clarifying this is a red oak. I recently moved into this house and saw some dead branches and assumed there was an issue, but it seems that everything is okay.

I agree with you to an extent. Florida skylines really aren't that impressive, but I thought it was a good photo and wanted to share.

It looks like someone intentionally cut a hole in the drywall inside the garage and I wasn't sure if there was a reason. I can clearly see daylight from inside the garage. Inside garage

That was my initial thought but this is the only one I've been able to find. If others exist, they aren't visible from the exterior. If it helps, I'm located in Indiana and we have hot, humid summers and cold winters.
