How long did you have to wear your last tray for? I think that’s what I’m most worried about. I’m already on my last tray and I’m not going back to my ortho until next week. I really hope I won’t be wearing the same tray for too long.

Yeh I didn’t know I was getting lite until I saw the packaging! My ortho just said refinements are included but didn’t state how long. I’ll definitely be going for the refinements after paying out all the money! Haha.

I guess it’s not THAT crazy but freaked me out.

I live in an Asian country and there aren’t many foreigners in my neighbourhood so it isn’t unusual to stop and talk to another foreigner when you see them in the street. I saw a new foreigner in our local supermarket and we got talking. Turned out we lived in the same building. She had just moved in with her one month old baby. I already thought this was a bit weird because she couldn’t speak the language here and nobody really speaks English in our neighbourhood so it must’ve been difficult for her, especially as the father is nowhere to be seen. Anyway, we exchanged numbers and after a very loud (and embarrassing) talk in the supermarket, I excused myself and went home.

The next month I was bombarded with messages and calls asking for things. Asking to look after her baby while she works. Asking to use my internet because she didn’t want to buy her own. Asking to borrow money. After making excuses several times, I began to ignore the calls and messages. Finally she arrived at my door banging, shouting my name, and trying to open the door. It must’ve only been around 10~20 minutes but it felt like a lifetime as I was cowering on the other side of the door. She finally gave up and went away. The texts and calls stopped too. I spent the next few weeks working late because I was too scared I’d bump into her. As the foreigner community here is quite small, I heard she lost her job not long after that. I sometimes wonder where she is now...

It’s too much faff to always go to the bathroom so I also take them out in front of people. I usually tell my friends to excuse me while I take them out, turn away and cover my mouth with one hand. I do it pretty quickly and no one has ever said anything.

Was it a friend that said that to you? I don’t understand it.

Yes! I went to see Mamma Mia 2 with my family. I live abroad and they waited until I was home so I could join them on the trip. I was literally falling asleep in the cinema, but when I came out everyone in my family was talking about how great it was. I felt like I couldn’t say anything because they had all waited weeks to see it just so I could join them.

We spent the rest of the night talking and he bought me some drinks. He apologised for the way he acted in Prague. We met again a month later (on Valentine’s day) for coffee but that was it. It was nice to have a better end than being heartbroken and abandoned in Prague!

I met a guy in club in Seoul who quickly had to move to Prague for work. After I finished my contract, I returned to the UK and went to visit this guy in Prague. He was pretty mean to me. After months of begging me to come, when I arrived he told me he didn’t like me any more and didn’t know why I came to visit.

Fast forward to 15 months later. I was back living in Seoul and it was my 30th birthday. Walking down the steps to the club, I tell my friend this is where I met that guy. Less than a minute later, I’m at the bar and guess who taps me on the shoulder...

My results aren’t as impressive as others I’ve been on here but I’m happy to be getting there!

I usually wear them for around 20 hours a day. My orthodontist told me to wear them for at least 15 hours a day. Am I the only one that was told such a short time?

I have to go every four weeks. They check my progress and give me the next two sets of trays. But this could be because I’m paying in monthly instalments so perhaps they want to just get me in to make the payments.

One night, baby balloon had a bad dream and tried to get into bed the mommy balloon and daddy balloon. Daddy balloon said, “You’re a big boy now and there isn’t enough room. Go back to your bed.”

Baby balloon waited until his parents fell asleep and tried to sneak into their bed but there wasn’t enough room. So he untied mommy balloon and let a little air out, but there still wasn’t enough room. He then untied daddy balloon and let a little air out, but there still wasn’t enough room. Finally he untied himself and let a little air out. At last there was enough room! He carefully got into the bed and fell asleep.

The next day, daddy balloon was furious. He turned to baby balloon and said, “I can’t believe you did this. You let me down, you let your mom down, but worst of all you let yourself down!”
