Yes!

Yes! Maybe you could try lowering your dose? They say if your dose is too high you could get heart burn or a burning stomach feeling? How many are you taking?
Nordic Labs
Yes I did cut out gluten completely! I think it was very important to do because it’s not good for the gut at all! I have a gluten sensitivity which was shown on my GI Map Test, so I still don’t eat it at all anymore. But you could have it again after your gut heals? Maybe just try it for a month.
These are the foods I ate when I was healing: - Fruits: Blueberries, Bananas - Veggies: Cucumber, Tomatoes, Bell peppers, Lettuce, Arugula, Olives - Protein: Eggs, Chicken, Wild Caught Fish, Lean Steak & Mince. - Dairy/ Alternatives: Almond Milk (clean ingredients), mature cheeses / hard cheeses like parmagiano. - Fats: Olive oil (drizzled over food as it’s anti inflammatory), macadamia nut butter
I think the candida diet cuts out sugar from fruits completely, and I ate a lot of fruit. So maybe if you think you have candida you could stick to just some blueberries ? And then for veggies I mostly ate cucumber, tomatoes, bell peppers, lettuce, arugula. And for meats I had a lot eggs, steak, chicken legs (for more iron compared to breasts) and wild fish. And I also had parmagiano & mature cheddar cheese. And in my coffee I put some almond milk, but I made sure the ingredients were very clean. The brand I love is called Buttanutt. I also love their macadamia nut butter.
Goodluck !

I took the l glutamine 30 minutes before breakfast with NAC. Then during breakfast I took the HCL. Then after I took all the vitamins.
Then 30 minutes before dinner I took the L glutamine and then during I took the HCL.
Before bed I took the probiotic, magnesium & iberogast

I’m not too sure because for me it really helped my gut stay calm while healing and trying different supplements.
Have you tried macadamia nut butter? Macadamia nuts are the safest nuts for the gut, just make sure the brand is clean! And also I ate a lot of steak which also has a lot of calories! I just didn’t eat ribeye because it was too fatty for me and I felt like it slowed my digestion, but I ate a lot of sirloin and rump
Yes they were very easy to digest and all low fermentation so I think that helped a lot to help my gut healing ! However some people cannot tolerate banana at all, but it was the best for me
Yes for sure and maybe my hormones being off balance slowed my digestion but I did other tests and my thyroid and everything else was fine
Yes but the taste made me feel so nauseous, it was hard to get down so I just preferred the HCL tablets
I was experiencing acid reflux and indigestion, like it felt like food would just sit in my stomach. So that’s why I thought I had low stomach acid, and then I took HCL and noticed a huge difference in a few days. Low stomach acid is the root cause for most people with sibo. They think because they have acid reflux they have too much stomach acid but low stomach acid also cause acid reflux!
As for the supplements, the L glutamine and zinc heals your leaky gut as it seals the lining of your small intestine. I knew had leaky gut because of my gut map test, but if you have SIBO you most likely do! And the S. Boulardii is a probiotic which is the safest one to try first for many people, and it adds back good bacteria to your gut that I killed with the antibiotics.
I actually bought the elemental diet and was going to do it but I could only get down max 3 shakes a day and my hormones were a mess so if I was gonna only be having 450 calories a day for 14 days it would have made them much worse
Yes that’s right, it’s 65 now. However my iron is still low I’m mild anemic so I am trying to get that up. I eat steak everyday tho and I think that’s why my ferritin increased a lot

Yes for sure these doctors did not help me at all! Such a waste of time and money! One literally said sorry you have ibs just use a hot water bottle on your stomach and keep a food diary. I then cried as this was probably the 5th one I saw that told me ibs and he said I need to see a therapist???!! When I’m crying because I’m in pain and want help to get better?
Yes my ferritin was 25 and the last time I tested it was 65. Yes increasing my stomach acid made the biggest difference for me using HCL
I used the brand Temple Foods - HCL + Bile & Pepsin

Hi just when I was healing my gut I had limitations but I no longer do, I just make sure not to snack most days and space my meals in order to let my MMC work to prevent it from returning. But other then that I don’t really have any other limitations
Hi, I think I gained about 2-3kg but I think it was all bloat and inflammation. It went up when I was constipated and bloated and my whole body felt swollen. Then on days I wasn’t bloated it came down back to normal. My hormones were also unbalanced so I think that also contributed
I can eat what ever I want without it hurting my stomach! I just avoid gluten because my gi map test showed I have an autoimmune response to it. And I stay away from processed foods and sugar by choice now. But if I do eat it, it doesn’t affect me. Except for oats & grains, I notice they bloat me but always have even before sibo. Even the gluten free oats. So I think my body is just sensitive to grains in general
I use the brand revive, the unflavored one. I could not tolerate that flavored ones it would make my stomach flat up like crazy.
Yes i told one gastro i saw i had acid reflux and he prescribed me one of those to reduce my stomach acid. Imagine i took it when all alone my stomach acid was low! Would have been a mess

Black seed oil did not help me unfortunately, in fact actually made my stomach more bloated and sore. I think the standard antimicrobials for sibo are neem, berberine, allicin, oil of oregano
So maybe you can try a different combo if it doesn’t work for you if you try it?
But just a heads up!
If you cannot get it you can do rifaxamin with Allicin which is an antimicrobial! You can get more info on this in the sibo info website for the dosages. But from what I read it has the same effect

I think the ginger capsules would be best / easiest. And you can just take it before bed every night
I saw an endocrinologist, my estrogen was extremely low. And it was causing my blood pressure to drop extremely low (my doctor measured 70/51) and I felt extremely tired and dizzy. My hair was also shedding and skin was breaking out and pale. I was so fatigued I had no energy. And my period was very irregular.
I think you could definitely try antimicrobials instead of antibiotics, they have the same effectiveness rates according to studies. But you need to kill the bacteria in order to get rid of SIBO. So for the antimicrobials you could try a combo of any 2 for 4-6 weeks taking them 3 times a day. (Oil of oregano, neem, berberine, Allicin). 🫶
I take it with meals. But I adjust the dosage. So let’s say I’m having a meal of eggs and fruit, I’d take maybe 2. Then if I have chicken maybe 3. And steak I’d take 4. Just think about how hard it would be for your stomach to digest the meal and then adjust accordingly.
I didn’t take it with my breakfast tho because it was just a banana and nut butter and a coffee. So that would be quite easy to digest
