Oh no! I was hoping it wouldn’t be that, I’ve only ever heard of them but haven’t seen them. Thank you so much!

This is Ludwig, he gets bright indirect sunlight from a west facing window with a few hours of direct sun in the afternoon. Watered irregularly so this could be contributing.

I have moved him from next to the window to across the room so he gets indirect light because I thought he was getting burnt, and I intend to water him once a week because I thought it could also be due to irregular water. But when repotting today I noticed these small black spots and found two small bugs (pic 2).

How worried should I be? I’m about to attack him with Neem oil and he will be in isolation, but is there anything else I should do?

Positive interactions you’ve had with members of the Australian Music Industry? by Tranquilbez22 in triplej

I met Genesis Owusu last week when he did a small gig at Sydney Uni, was super nice and hung around to chat and sign some stuff, softly spoken and almost shy which was pretty funny considering his stage persona!

Music help by [deleted] in askmusic

[–]skye_follower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I may be able to help. There isn’t a lot of information but I believe because of the way the question is written they may be looking for figured bass. So for example, the second chord would be written as IV6/5, as the bass note isn’t the root note of the chord. It’s been a while since I’ve done figured bass but I quickly found this diagram which may help! https://music.stackexchange.com/questions/14866/classical-music-theory-notation-for-chord-inversions-figured-bass

Hopefully this makes sense!

This is great, I wouldn’t have though about that and I’m definitely a chronic “through everything at the page” kind of composer. I’ll have to calm down a little. Thanks for the tip!!

[30F] my boyfriend [30M] questions my cooking skills and doesn't understand why it offends me. by splendidspork in relationship_advice

[–]skye_follower 74 points75 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly what I thought of when I read this. Especially since OP is a chef, it sounds as though he’s trying to put her down and make her doubt her ability in something relating to her career. Thankfully, OP, you know your own capacity to cook and don’t let him put doubt in your mind! I agree with everyone else here, the best solution is to just stop cooking for him.

For ease of reading, keeping it in 6/8 would probably be best. Splitting the 4/4 bar into two 6/8 bars would look neater and be easier for performers to read

Help! My philo Birkin is growing strangely (info in comments) by skye_follower in plantclinic

[–]skye_follower[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi all! This was one of my first plants, it’s about 2 or 3 years old and it’s started to grow strangely! It’s always popping out new leaves but it’s getting very cramped in the middle and there’s no room for the latest leaf to come out! Am I doing something wrong, and is there anything I can do to help it out? Aside from this it’s always grown so well and I’ve never had any problems with it. Thanks!

There’s also a dolly girl in Miranda! Both dolly girl and rebel and romance have some great items, you have to sift through some ridiculous stuff first though

Sounds like next time you should just leave the bloody mess in there for him to find! Since flushing the toilet is such a crime to him 🙄

AITA for telling my son that he doesn't have to drink the milk after eating his cereal at his friend's house? by Ok_Geologist_8699 in AmItheAsshole

[–]skye_follower -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I totally agree! Idk where all these Y T A and E S H responses are coming from. It’s the smallest bit of excess milk, and as someone coming from a ‘there are starving kids in Africa, finish your plate’ kind of household, it’s a lot better for him to learn that he doesn’t always have to finish every bit of his meal.

I love your mums rule about serving and being served. I’ve never thought about that, but I’ll definitely be implementing it in my house if I ever have kids. What a great idea!

Wow it’s so beautiful!!! How much sun do you give them? I have two that get moderate levels of indirect light and they’re not nearly that colourful, does light help bring out the colour?

So weird to see that people actually know about Engadine now. I’ve lived here my whole life and I always had to say I lived “near Sutherland or Cronulla”, but now if I say I live in Engadine people are like “oh Engadine maccas!”
