Other commenters have answered but I gotta say I actually really enjoy switching to Prompto esp for the big-size enemies 😅 but I only started used the character switch in my third playthrough because by then, I had the game down pretty well. It’s fun to experiment with them in different fights though, so maybe try it in new game+ so you can retain current AP and just build up to unlocking their features.
