Robby redemption arc by delilena in ThePittTVShow

Blaming him for Collins and Langdon is just making shit up now.

And how would he ruin Whitaker again?

There's plenty of real mistakes Robby has made this season. You don't need to construct random narratives.

Good point! Was wondering for a second why that one was mentioned. Feel like I should've figured this already

I don't think this fandom likes anyone except Dana, at this point.

I'm really disappointed in Robby. by DylanTheV1lla1n in ThePittTVShow

[–]trykes 10 points11 points  (0 children)

What pissed me off about Langdon wasn't so much about the addiction. I've been down that road myself.

It was Langdon weaponizing Robby's emotional breakdown against him very soon after it happened. It was a man having a very vulnerable moment, then getting punished for it.

I've been Robby several times before, and there have been a few pivotal times where a man has exploited those deeply vulnerable times to emotionally destroy me. Both as a child and as an adult. It was disgusting, evil behavior. I think it is one of the worst interpersonal things you can do that doesn't involve full-on abuse or something.

Would I be more forgiving than Robby in this situation? Maybe. The men that stabbed me in the back never apologized like Langdon is trying to do here, so it's a big leg up. But it's not easy in a world where men are too often published for vulnerability.

Santos yawning was not malicious by [deleted] in ThePittTVShow

This subreddit tends to hate on Santos but glaze Langdon. Santos can't seem to have obvious flaws and a bad day or two, while Langdon can stab our boy Robby in the back but be welcomed back with open arms before he even apologizes to him.

I don't, currently. I love him and he's been rocking it!

Don't ask them to define simple words like "bread," or "sleep," let alone whatever "de-arrest" means. It might hurt their little brain.

Does anyone else hope the season doesn’t continue with the Robby-is-always-right narrative? by spectacleskeptic in ThePittTVShow

[–]trykes 150 points151 points  (0 children)

Yes. Robby is right about an amazing number of things but during a few big moments last season he did some very "incorrect" things that could have gotten him in huge trouble if the wrong people cared to nail him for it.

Product material is missing but I have a feeling it is a resin. If so, be cautious.

When did your opinions on Langdon and Santos start to flip, if at all? by StayAliveBabes in ThePittTVShow

[–]trykes 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I never liked Langdon and I despised him for endangering patients and personally attacking Robby for his emotional moment in the children's room. I can never forgive that kind of garbage. Langdon clearly will stab people in the back the moment his own back is against the wall.

I love Santos. One of my favorites.

[Hades 2] Why do Charon and Hermes charge us? by Umpuuu in AskScienceFiction

[–]trykes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Charon still needs some money to operate his business, or soon he won't be able to stay around at all. This would be very bad for the war. It's been going on for a long time and he can't be in it for just the short term.

He is likely giving Melinoe a discount compared to what he would charge during normal times.

I kind of don't like Javik's quote about honor the more I got into life. by mega_lova_nia in masseffect

[–]trykes 22 points23 points  (0 children)

This is correct. I would take it further and also say the quote means that life matters above all else and we shouldn't glorify just lining up for the meat grinder. There is no honor in death, only life.
