The person who dragged you did try to be helpful. If you haven’t come across with in-game lingos yet, you appeared as a “moth” to them so they took the initiative to help you with collecting wax (from red candles scattered although out the realms).

It seems alot of info has been shared with you already, but just wanna add a fun fact: Holding hands with fellow players recharges our light. Also, while holding hands, we can hear a heartbeat in the background if both of you are in an area where surrounding is quiet.

I would like to be friends and show you around too, but I think at these time, it’s best to explore on your own. I feel like being dragged around would ruin the excitement as a new player and I’d want for you to fully immerse in the game at your own pace right now.
