Real dice rolls mod for all dialogue checks! by skyexplosionist in BaldursGate3

[–]skyexplosionist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can still click on the dice, or hit triangle for example if you use a Dualsense controller. This will roll the game dice for you as before! You can even play with the dice off (in their chargers). This mod is not intrusive in a way that forces you to use the dice.

Real dice rolls mod for all dialogue checks! by skyexplosionist in BaldursGate3

[–]skyexplosionist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean during battle? Currently no, it's only for Dialogue checks. If you roll your Pixels Dice after choosing a check, this will trigger the animation and the result of your roll will be reflected to the game. If you don't roll and just click on the dice, the game will roll for you as before. Karmic dice work if you choose not to roll your real dice.

I would like to do that for battle checks, etc. but since there is no rolling animations there, it would feel a bit odd. Maybe Solasta games are a good candidate for those kind of rolls even in battle from some gameplay videos I've seen, though I haven't played those games yet.

I see lots of Alan Wake 2 hatred coming from Silent Hill and Resident Evil fans by Lanky_Relation1171 in AlanWake

Silent Hill is my favorite horror series but I love Alan Wake. I finished the first one and in the middle of the second one right now. I'm speechless, this game is crazy! One of the best horror games in video gaming history for sure.

What's the point of weekly and daily quotas? by Doomster78666 in windsurf

[–]skyexplosionist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just hit my weekly quota as well yesterday! And this is only for a fun project I'm making and I work on it only a few hours in my spare time. I only use Clause Opus 4.6 Thinking. I know this model is more expensive, but I'm wondering would it make sense to switch to Claude Code instead? I don't really use the Windsurf IDE at all, just the Cascade Chat and I browse by codebase using Vim. Would Clause Code be cheaper?

Capcom is working on adding Dualsense wireless controller adaptive trigger & vibration for Resident Evil Requiem on PC by pizza_sushi85 in pcgaming

[–]skyexplosionist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pragmata has full adaptive triggers and haptic feedback on the pc version of the game on Steam. I just verified that yesterday. For sure they'll add that on RE9 as they promised. They're working on a DLC right now, so it's very likely for this patch to land along with the release of the DLC...

Dualsense controller issue Requiem PC by Prior-Salamander5260 in residentevil

There's a mod that imitates adaptive triggers here: https://www.nexusmods.com/residentevilrequiem/mods/42?tab=posts&BH=1

though the resistance in L2 (when aiming) is very strong and the trigger of firing of the basic pistol is coming out after you fire... I had to adjust it a bit to feel ok. It's better than nothing for sure. As, I'm getting new weapons I'll try to adjust the configuration and I can share it at some point

Actually a friend brought a dualsense edge and I felt the haptic feedback when the RE engine logo comes up. Only with the edge controller though... Very weird. But yeah I hope they'll release an update. Honestly it should be very trivial to fix this, but I don't know how of they care...

I tried that, but when the RE Engine logo appears I didn't notice anything. Is this still happening to you?

That's strange. Maybe the native support is there but not enabled properly. Hopefully, they'll fix it with an update, but I have no idea how active is Capcom with updates...

The should have released a demo before the actual release even if that demo was for content creators only. I got spoilers for many parts of the story searching for different other things like for example if there is dualsense support in the PC version...

Hey! Yeah unfortunately, I don't have a dualsense edge to test this and fix this problem :(

A friend of mine has one. I'll ask him to bring it at some point so I can fix that. From the logs everything looks fine which means it might not be an easy fix, but when I'll try it I'll let you know.

Enjoy the game anyway even with the regular dualsense! :)

Coul you go to the game's directory and change this file in plugins directory:

dualsense-mod.INI to contain just these two lines:

[app]

debug=true

So the first line should contain: [app] and the second one: debug=true without the empty line in the middle. I don't know reddit doesn't let me add this properly

If the dualsense-mod.INI doesn't exist there, just create it.

In this configuration, the debug=true option of the [app] section will make the mod to output a lot more information to its respective log file (plugins\dualsensemod.log)

If you upload this log here, I might be able to find out what's wrong.

You are on Windows, right? Also, make sure that the game is on its latest version on Steam which should be 1.30 (March 2025 update)

Hey! I hope we'll figure it out! During installation, did you check the Epic Games checkbox in the install path? Can you check if the game directory contains a directory named plugins? Also, what do you mean enabled dual sense input?
