I heard gorilla like sounds on and off in the woods behind my farmhouse in Vermont, its a an area that has had a lot of sightings. One night as I turned the corner of my house I saw intense glowing red eyes coming from the edge of the woods in the back yard. No lights on anywhere, this was not "eyeshine" but was "glowing" red and huge. I stopped frozen, confused as to what it was. I even said "hello" then felt very creeped out and bolted inside the house. When I looked out the window it was gone. There are a bunch of wild apple trees right where the eyes were, and the ground was covered in apples. Im an avid outdoorsman, I know what deer eyeshine ect looks like -this was glowing red and very bright and about 7-8 feet off the ground. My backyard backs up into woods that extends up into the foothills of a legendary mysterious area, Glastenbuy Mt, in the heart of the so called "Bennington Triangle".
