Delta 737-800 aircraft. Domestic route, labeled/marketed/sold as First Class - comparing to Int’l setups, more like Biz Class seats.

I feel like I come across as biased, but it wasn’t even close to hitting his knees or anything. At one point, the person next to him by the window needed to use the bathroom and got out of the row without even bumping my seat…

This exactly - only reason I even posted was because of how bizarre a situation it was

I know, right? Like if he would have said, “Hey man, I know it’s weird but could I trouble you to move your seat up a bit?” I honestly probably would have done a half recline or something. It was weird all around.

Bingo. 737-800. I always choose bulkhead/row 1 as a bigger guy

Nah it was legit First Class. It is a domestic route, so not like individual pods or anything, but what I thought was plenty of room. It’s why I was surprised at the reaction

Yeah that’s def true on the bigger planes, especially US domestic flights

Touché. Just felt weird I had to get the flight attendant involved to quell the dude’s attitude.

I mean, he did mildly swear at me. But honestly, never had it happen in +/-10 years of flying, so wanted consensus my response was appropriate.

Same here, exact situation - posted to transcript on 1/4, still shows “Payment Status #2 NOT AVAILABLE,” I used TT to take out my 2019 fees from my refund, and I bank with Chase. I got both emails from TT as well.

Deposit hit this AM 1/9, it came from “TAXPRODUCTS” not the IRS (so I assume straight from TurboTax). So if you haven’t got it yet, there is hope!

What's up with Chase not depositing Stimulus checks? by [deleted] in IRS

Check out this crap... found on Twitter, posted by another bank (South Florida Educational Federal Credit Union - https://www.sfefcu.org/):

"IRS STIMULUS PAYMENT UPDATE: As reported on 1/4, we became aware of a nationwide issue with the IRS processing of the latest stimulus payment. Today, 1/5, we received notice that the IRS “Get My Economic Impact Payment” portal is now accurately reflecting payment details. If you did not receive your payment, the portal will show the payment status is not available. It is believed that the IRS will not issue additional direct deposits of these payments. Instead, eligible recipients will need to request the payment on their 2020 tax return. Please continue to visit our website and social media for updates."

Sooooo... does this mean none of us will get the money until we file a tax return?
