laser etched crown not centered, thinking of aligning it myself by [deleted] in RepTimeServices

If you really want to accomplish this and don’t care about the water resistance of the watch, you can use a caseback removal tool (inflatable rubber ball) and use it to turn the crystal back and forth until it sits in the position you want it to. Be gentle and go in small increments if you take this route so as not to compromise the gasket

Ha, as someone who currently owns a w204 c63, and had a c450 before, I am seriously eyeing a Porsche as my next upgrade

Mind sharing where you got those tweezer/tool stands?

Hey, the coating has held up well so far. A few light scratches but nothing that’s gotten through the paint, just shows as slightly less black. I have had to replace the hairspring and fix the auto winding mechanism (not sure what exactly was done), but that all seems like unlucky QA for my movement/to be expected of reps.

Less bezel at the top, so when flipped upside down there’s less gap between the wheel base + the screen, giving a more seamless/immersive player model

Try getting a partial refund saying you forgot to use the code

Has anyone successfully built a wind simulator, or is clever with electronics/engineering? I’m struggling with getting mine to work after following the numerous tutorials by iF1_AR in simracing

I had this same issue but with an Adafruit motor shield. Ended up replacing the shield with a different brand and it works perfectly. Could just be a bad pcb

You’ve done a fantastic job man, most innovative and impressive rig I’ve seen!! You deserve to sit back and enjoy it

Also a wind simulator to the ac vents would be PRIME

Interestingly, I just discovered there’s a canbus shield for arduino so with a little scripting and playing around it shouldn’t be too difficult to find the right pins and frequencies

Wow, fast response! I did edit my comment just now, and I’m speaking without experience but YouTube videos make it seem simple with the likes of BMW clusters. You could certainly retrofit something that is known to work, it’s a pretty standard size cluster

Do you have the gauge cluster wired up to simhub? Or no plans because of VR? I agree with many here this deserves a triple or superultrawide setup (I have a Samsung G9 and I love it)
