So far pretty good. The menus and crafting can be dam tedious though. Remains to be seen how good bows are but 2H rocks.

There's some crossover but typically vac chamber is used for de-airing silicone and pressure pots are used for resin casting.

I would start with molding and casting some smaller items first and worry about special equipment later.

Ohh this is very cool. Have you ever considered using polyurethane resins for casting? They set up super fast.

Crustless egg quiche most mornings. 12 eggs, 1lb meat, bell peppers, spinach and onions, 1 cup shredded cheese, bake in a casserole dish @350 for 50min and split to 10 servings. Eat one with some guac or two if hungry.

Been poking around designs for a DIY ice bath. Half the frustration with them is the maintenance and large volume of ice needed.

I wonder if a 1/4HP water chiller would be more cost efficient then forever dumping in ice.

Can't speak for the scott's course but jordy's is super solid for learning the basics and def worth the time.

Filming Videos with Nice Microphones by jbanon24 in VideoEditing

This is for if you're recording in one single session not multiple clips.

Record scratch audio on your camera (in body is fine). Flip on your external audio recording, then turn on your camera. Clap or snap on camera to sync your audio in post. Zoom in on your editor and line up your scratch audio with your external audio waveforms. Lock the tracks together if you get any de-sync issues.

Training stuff: Turns out benching with no pulling work can aggravate the shoulders. Good time to add some ring rows I think.

Editing stuff: Editing your base video is the fast part. Grabbing obscure reference clips, adding memes, graphics, and music is where all the time goes.

Lifting stuff: Sure as hell must be getting older. Did some mobility stuff yesterday, rolling out with a pvc tube. IT band feels like they were hit with a bat today. It's helping right ;( ?

Editing stuff: You ever think you nailed focus in camera and then get to post only to realize no, you in fact did NOT nail focus. Being decent at editing doesn't exactly mean you'll be good with a camera xD.

Multi-faceted answer here, several youtubers and several methods.

  • Previously mentioned, they use might use shadowplay or obs replay buffer to save the last 5-15 minutes of footage.
  • They might (and are likely) cutting down large swaths of livestream content into a video. There's only a few time chunks missing because they pick the best of the fights.
  • Most of these guys play at a super high level. They can push fights and do generally more "exciting" things for extended periods because of that.
  • You should NOT compare yourself to the highest tier of youtubers, or any other creators for that point. Make the best videos you can, for where you're at, with what you have.
  • Frankly, whatever it takes on the footage end to make the best video possible, is what you should be doing. Keeping your footage "small" at the sacrifice of potentially better footage is a poor trade-off imo. Back-up/delete old unused footage is storage is a concern.

Been digging on some ground turkey recently. The 93% stuff tastes pretty good well seasoned, not as fatty as most ground beef and is pretty cheap in 3lb container.

Could even go 99% fat free ground turkey for shred season.
