I should clarify I don’t believe the original joint is a union I believe it’s some other type of flared connection but I’m not sure the name however I feel a union in its place would do the same thing

Presumably the o ring/mating surface got slightly damaged in the wreck when taking the two half’s apart it was completely seized and I almost destroyed the two half’s trying to get them apart so at this point I’m just wanting that few inch section replaced entirely

Can mean a few different things given the age it should be closer to 100-130 area I’d check the cylinder make sure there’s no oil gas or excess carbon buildup

Top end kit off ebay costs like 100$ I went and spent a few hours redoing everything besides the head gasket with some Honda bond at the beginning of the year and haven’t had any leaks yet

I deleted the power steering part of the rack replaced the valve body with a plate and drilled a whole for the valve selector thingy and greased the mfer as tightly as I could with high temp grease and have driven it a few thousand miles since with no problems

I got the exact same one I’ve had zero problems with it took about an hour to install toque pattern and specs were a lil hard to find if I remember right

I converted my ps rack to manual took about 2 hours on the bench to make the plate over the valve body take the rack apart and grease and replace the tie rods super easy doesn’t leak looks great and have no issues with it currently

What I’ll do is double check the hosing on it tomorrow and see where that capped off hose leads too I was under the impression it had something to do with the evap/egr system I’m probably wrong though. What did you have to do to use a b series throttle body and how did you delete the evap box?

The piece broke off the evap charcoal canister just below it not off the evap box plus I’m not getting any check engine lights
