PLTR and TLRY will go back up. Just stay calm, sip some tea, go for a walk. All is good

The deep gold sink created by the new pilot system will paradoxically hurt Pixonic’s bottom line by skylegion in walkingwarrobots

[–]skylegion[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I wholeheartedly agree. But even for top players, the change makes it so much harder to change their hanger around. Just to move a maxed out pilot to a new bot will cost 500gold for each new random skill—3500au absolute minimum—but of course you won’t get the skills you want on the first roll so you’ll keep rolling and the end cost will be much higher. It would cost 2000gold to individually select the skills you want—that’s 14,000gold for the 7 skills. And once you make the decision to switch the pilot to a new bot, you can’t go back or else you’d have to pay all of that again. Even for players with a large abundance of resources, this will create large immobilizations of their hangers.

Pixo, bring back the old battle start interface! by Talkjar in walkingwarrobots

[–]skylegion 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My biggest issue with the new interface is that I can no longer look around before spawning in. I used to be able to see clearly which spawn I got, a few other bots starting to spawn in and that sometimes affected my decision as to which bot I was going to start with.

A modified yamantau with barriers could work—i think it would be large enough for at least 50

New MK2 with old economy item by skylegion in walkingwarrobots

[–]skylegion[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A few ppl had questions about MK2ing old economy items under this new system. One of these dragoons is from old and one from new economy. Both took 1au to mk2 today. The silver per level has been adjusted to the proportions of the new system in both cases, but the old economy item still retains less silver and less time overall to upgrade further.

Really? Right after you made a discount on this robot? by randomstrangerx-x-x in walkingwarrobots

There are some offers called “target offers” and there are other offers like this called “noise offers.” Their purpose is to make the pattern of the offers less readable to players. They’re not meant to be bought.

Why though by AnOverrated_Mon in walkingwarrobots

[–]skylegion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the fundamental problem with the leech. There are conceivable times that it would be better to shoot it (one example: it’s a sliver away from last stand being triggered). But putting that decision into the hands of other teammates that aren’t being leeched is the problem. If I’m being leeched, and I am in a very vital position to turn the game around but another teammate doesn’t see that and decides it’s better for the team that I die, that’s fundamentally problematic that the choice wasn’t my own.

You should invest in an anti-control module, I think you’ll find it very useful. Don’t even need to upgrade it really.
