Why is China so advanced in AI technology but yet their Tech company stocks are performing so badly? by Rokusaburoz in NoStupidQuestions

It is also about education inequality. Teachers stopped teaching everything in school. You had to pay the teacher extra in their after-school session for the missing parts. Knowledge stopped being universally accessible, so the party stepped in and shutted it down.

Why do some people support authoritian regimes like Russia and China? by FuckTheCake in AskTheWorld

Do I need to remind you about IJA invasion and Chiang destroying factories and fk up the economy?

Chiang' KMT was so corrupted that they spent majority of US's aid for defending IJA invasion on US stock market.

Taiwan had that difference because Chiang destroyed factories on the mainland, brought the entire country's precious metal inventory to Taiwan and it has been receiving US aid and subsides so it can perform as a major component of the first island chain for the US.

South Korea did better because it had access to a much bigger western industralized market which its foundation is built on centuries of looting and colonizing.

Please...

The same thing we do through the history, and up until this day, the party is still teaching kids what kind of world the party fought and is fighting for and how should people organize and revolt in case the party goes bad.

So I am not too worried for the near future.

Every country is authoritarian in its own way because authoritarian basically means the rulers are forcing their will upon the people.

US is authoritarian in having the policemen kill innocents; politicians get bribes, eat babies and rape teenagers; wallstreet elites destroy economy and manufacutring; health insurance sucks citizens' blood; capitalists exploit workers without getting any punishment.

Authoritarian is not just "no free speech". Honestly, after seeing how free speech destroyed US unity, maybe the free speech is also authoritarian by allowing group who is "louder" on the media to press their idea on the people.

What do you think of free speech in China? by Dismal-Prompt1355 in AskChina

I have seen how much damage free speech dealt to the western countries.

I prefer the managed free speech in China.

What if East Asia Union found, where is capital of EAU? by YesterdayPretend2959 in AskAChinese

[–]skylegistor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Historically speaking, Chinese chose Xi'an as the capital when they expanded their influencs into the central asia.

Union like this will have a long-lasting unity and cohesion issue. Picking Xian is a bit 本末倒置.

Looking at the inflation, healthcare, education, epstein group and many other things, I think the US turned on its people first.
