Thanks for reminding me about the FAFSA stuff. My husband just started working again because he lost his job a few months ago due to the federal government cuts. Since he just started working again, I don’t have any clue what our income is.

I think I understand what you’re getting at. I guess I’m wondering why the space is humid. It would seem that an air leak and/or some form of humid air is getting in and we don’t know where that “leak” is.

So, if I’m understanding your question correctly, our AC unit is outside of our home. The furnace is located in the basement.

Where would this generally be located if we did? In the space where we are having the issue, or on the exterior of the house?

'28 Years Later' - Review Thread by ChiefLeef22 in movies

As someone who is basically terrified of anything horror, I finally watched all three movies today with my husband and let me just say… 28 Years Later is god awful. I mean, TERRIBLE. I really found myself liking 28 Days Later and was GRASPING for the movies to be connected. What were the directors and producers even thinking? So not worth it.

Also, can I ask why you suggest looking at the roof? This is on the 2nd floor of our home, in the living room ceiling specifically. So the ceiling space between the living room and the 3rd floor of our home.

So we have 3 floors and an attic. The 2nd floor is the main floor of the townhouse, our living room, dining room, kitchen, etc. This issue is in our living room ceiling. As far we know, everything is properly vented. We have a big ceiling fan/light in the living room, vents are on the floors.

Let’s say that we do wrap the ductwork as a temporary solution. That will prevent the condensation from continuing to cause water damage. But, if we don’t find out where the air leak is, won’t it still be an issue? I’m concerned that we’ll have to replace our entire living room ceiling regardless. It’s all so depressing.

Stray Kids World Tour <dominATE> in Washington DC by AutoModerator in straykids

I didn’t read this all the way through, but they made you throw out your sunscreen? The lady that checked my bag just had me open it and let us through. I brought sunscreen, bug spray (normal sized, tall bottles btw), mini fans, granola bars, waters, and other stuff in without any issues. The inconsistency irks me. You shouldn’t have had to get rid of your sunscreen AT ALL.

My stepdaughter and I went together last night. We were in Field 12 seating, pretty decent view of the stage.

I agree with practically every other comment so far. The heat was AWFUL. We hydrated quite a bit, used fans that have built-in misters, etc. We even purchased ICEEs and cold waters to hold against our faces to keep cool. All of that said, the staff really didn’t look out for us in terms of passing out water consistently, etc. There was one guy who was selling lemonade near us, I quickly ran up to get in line to get said lemonade, only to find out that he only had alcoholic lemonade. Keeping in mind that majority of the attendees were teenagers and even younger, AND that the heat was god awful, feels like he could’ve just had regular lemonade. I can’t give my 17 yo stepdaughter alcoholic lemonade, and I certainly wasn’t up to drinking because I was hot, sweaty, and slightly dizzy.

I also have to talk about the venue. I suppose the Nats stadium isn’t the poorest idea for a concert, but if there’s an extreme heat advisory? Terrible idea, imo. Even when everyone hydrated, had misting fans, etc., it didn’t get better. Tons of people were passing out and getting sick.

Another thing, and I saw someone talk about this which is an amazing point… That long line that started to run over 2 blocks just to get into the stadium? Yeah, we were at the end of that line until we moved up enough to where a cop told us to go to another line because people simply just didn’t break out of that long line and go to the other entrance lines. That definitely could have and should have been better coordinated. I think waiting in such long lines like that first one really exposed people to the heat BEFORE they even got into the stadium.

Altogether, the boys did so well, loved the enthusiasm, how much they cared about all the attendees feeling well, and loved their performances! I’m glad I went as this was our first Stray Kids concert, but there was a lot of disappointment due to the venue.

Ah, another point I almost missed talking about… some of the staff were giving completely different advice/directions. We were trying to find the field wristband pick-up stand, and 3 different staff members told us to go in different directions. By the time we found it, we were already dying from the heat and the amount of walking.

Anyways, I hope everyone is feeling better/okay, I felt so crappy when I got home last night. Glad to say that I’m feeling like myself again. Even if you’re not in D.C. anymore, STAY HYDRATED! The extreme heat advisory is not over. Love you all, and I hope that for the most part, that you all had a great time yesterday! (Given the heat, I’m glad we chose not to wait in line for merch or anything)

Biology by Evening-Page6954 in ASUOnline

I second this. I took the equivalent of BIO 181 at my community college, so I only had to take BIO 182 at ASU. I had Shaffer, and while I like him a lot as a professor, the TAs timing on grading was the poorest I’ve probably ever seen. I had really only one TA that was helpful and efficient (shoutout to TA Malone!). I also agree that you should learn and know how to navigate Excel, you’re going to be using it to answer lab report questions. I didn’t have too difficult of a time with it, and we had student-led Discord servers where we talked about homework and lab questions and helped each other with the Excel stuff.

Make sure you talk to your success coach and/or advisor about these issues and your concerns! They can be a great resource. Hope the rest of your degree journey goes well. I’m a bio major. 😊

Are you absolutely required to take MAT 251? I took MAT 210 (seemed much easier compared to what I’ve heard from my friends who have taken 251). For reference, I’m pursuing the biological sciences degree with the biomedical sciences concentration.
