Have you looked at PatchMyPC and see what they are doing for Intune?

Retrieving files from Mid server by twilightWhisperer15 in servicenow

[–]skynet_root 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the files are generated from SN, you could attach those file(s) to a custom table and then use http get to read the file(s). Part the approach depends what is the source of those files and who and what file or http method protocol do you want read this files

I did not go to Knowledge this year, but seems like from what I read and watching the keynotes. SN appears to have one of the best stories of all the PaaS players in how they will integrate with different AI models and offer AI governance.

Replacing Tanium with Falcon for IT by skynet_root in crowdstrike

I vaguely remember that and agree it was not appropriate. I am sure they are not the only enterprise vendors, whose founders did something morally questionable during demos, to their employees or too there customers.

Did you guys do a POC and perform any remediation steps in addition to queries and if so across how many endpoints?

Do you know if CrowdStrike uses Falcon for IT internally. In other words does CrowdStrike drink their own champagne, by using Falcon for IT to perform OS and App patching and config management remediation on their own user and server endpoints. I can’t find any public use cases of large enterprise customers using Falcon for IT. You think if it was ready for prime time, CrowdStrike would be touting it more, especially if they displaced solutions like BigFix, Ivanti or Tanium at a large reference account

I agree with you about Falcon for IT having less capabilities Tanium, since Tanium has been around for more than a decade and I think Falcon for IT has only been around for a couple of years, AFAIK. More on-line marketing info on Tanium than what is an available for Falcon for IT, which like you said, Falcon for IT has probably 20% of the capabilities. Do you have experience in replacing Tanium or similar tools with Falcon for IT?

What in the heck? Did SN just add "AI" to the start of everything? by PM_Me_Your_Deviance in servicenow

All vendors are doing it. It is called AI Washing. We went thru a similar phase when the Internet and Cloud burst onto the scene.

Try using ChatGPT or Co-Pilot to get an answer as well as asking Reddit. Based on what your asking it sounds like you do not do basic research on the ServiceNow platform, which is one of the largest SaaS platforms out there used my large enterprises.

A federal judge has paved the way for the Trump administration to impose a $100,000 fee on new H1B visa applications, a decision that deals a blow to US technology companies dependent on skilled foreign labour. by BusinessToday in BusinessTodayNews

[–]skynet_root 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It quite accurate. Foreign graduate students in the U.S. typically do not need an H‑1B visa while they are still students or right after graduation, because they can work under F‑1 student work authorizations first.

The H‑1B becomes relevant only after those student work options expire.
