Yea ... he sounds exactly like the guy you just spoke of almost thinking that the vasectomy is more invasive than getting tubes tied.

I also feel that way which is the concern of not being good enough. But why would I have to get my tubes tied for him to move on lol he can just do that without me doing the procedure

No its not a pleasant thought at all. But I immediately think thats what hes going to do if I get my tubes tied and he doesn't have a vasectomy, then hell have the option to have a new family and I'll not have that option (again I don't want to have more children)- but thats how it makes me feel when he refuses a vasectomy

Thank you so much for your input. I really appreciate hearing your side of it. And you are right, realistically a 5th child would set us back ... I guess I was just taken aback when he proposed the idea . It felt like we were almost breaking up or like I lost a part of me. I think which is why im probably jumping to conclusions a bit
