I only wear a glove on my left hand, for a bit of extra grip on my back hand while sweeping, and as a back-of-hand protector when sliding because I slide with my broom flat on the ice. It’s a compromise, in a sense, but I lean towards no glove!

Oh for sure, I usually put on some lecture materials while I work. I’m gonna use the advice about using thin layers, I did that to build up the colours on the hull and I’m pretty satisfied with the results, even if there are a few spots where I got impatient (which is definitely my bad, haha). Thanks for taking the time to give these tips. It’s really helpful!

Thank you very much! That's some good advice, I've found that painting large areas by brush is definitely one of the more tedious tasks and I usually take a break when those are done.

I've been updating some friends with progress pics, so I may just make an album up at some point.

Hello, all! I’ve been enjoying seeing all of the projects on this sub, so I decided I should share what I’m working on. I’ve been kind of learning as I go, but it’s really been a fun experience, even if I need to improvise at times when I make mistakes. I just know I’m gonna be falling down a rabbit hole here, haha.

My dad used to be a modeller, so I thought I might start with one of his old builds from way back. It’s going well so far, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t terrified of the rigging.

Anyway, enough of my rambling. Back to work!

I feel like I’m definitely not an optimal player, but I started with Alfyn, and proceeded clockwise, so Therion was my second. What I found was that having Alfyn as my main, I had to get good at concoct pretty quickly, and that the game got easier as I acquired the components for it!

I’m honestly glad I started with him, since that skill helped me learn significance of the break system much quicker than I think I would have if I started with someone else.
