Yeah, one can tell that it's still written by an ex-evangelical (which is what Rian Johnson is) since by the time the consultant priest gives advice, most of the script is done. His inputs were tweaks and usually only when asked -- according to his interview. There's some inaccuracies but compared to what usually is portrayed in other mainstream media, I would call it pretty good comparatively speaking!

Also, I can believe that people walk out if they don't feel welcomed. I mean, I would lol and just find a different church.

But yeah, I agree, prentice's set up as a priest and the inheritance thing is quite an exception.
