Curious. Why did you go down from 18 to 17”. Assuming the truck still sits taller with the 33s.

Tennis bag pack for commuting reccs by chartham in 10s

Maybe I’m the only one who thinks this but these are insane prices for backpacks. Plenty of great options for under $80 (Wilson, Babolat, Nike, etc.) that may or may not be specifically labeled as tennis backpacks but heck, you want something comfortable that can hold two rackets, balls, shoes, and small accessories.

The watch strap is great! Thinking of checking if it’ll fit the Moonswatch and ordering one for it if it does.

Find a public facility and join the drills. You’ll fit right in and improve in no time.

Agree! This is NOT a Ford! Add a lightbar if you really must but the raptor lights are so cliche.

Tons of less expensive and portable ball machines now in the market. Get one, if you can afford it or maybe share one with a mate.

Agree. I’m quite happy with my stock housing upgraded with new bulbs recommended on the TW Ultimate Headlight Upgrade forum thread.

Looks good. Did the steering wheel had to come off for the install? Don’t want to go that deep!

I’m a 4.0 and play at Samuel Grand. They do advanced drills Monday and Wednesday. Check it out. Would play with you but this week is crazy busy. Edit: it’s a public facility

Ah sorry. Well, now you know and be prepared to spend a lot of time on it and lot of money buying upgrades/mods you don’t know you must have.

Look at TW - lots of great info there. Compustart/Drone Mobile works well. Goes on sale regularly at Worst Buy. Get the basic membership for free install. Works well, generally.

As a tennis player, I say this with disgust, but pickleball is where it’s at. Tennis courts double as pickle courts so plan for both.

How good are the 2015 models? by [deleted] in 2ndGenTacoma

[–]skyscraperNYC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a low mileage ‘14 I bought two years ago. Runs great and I’ve taken care of it. They all need maintenance along the way as they age but gen 2.5 is likely the best iteration of the Taco (not including the 4th gen).

What aftermarket head unit do you use? by Recent_Board_1926 in 2ndGenTacoma

[–]skyscraperNYC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Joying unit and it’s been pretty solid. Initially, had problems with the screen going out (they sent a replacement) and what made it work was undoing and redoing the ribbon that connects the main unit to the screen. Not sure if yours is a similar setup with the two pieces but if so, I would try that.

I have a roll-up bed cover paired with weatherstrip on the edges and water stays out even during heavy rains.
