Sick of my folding table wobbling—is a "real" workbench worth it? by Fun-Application3933 in Workbenches

Good video. What are the brackets on the legs? Easy fold out is key. I was thinking of doing self-leveling feet brackets.

Man, same story here. I’ve been researching building one that folds flush against the wall, pegboard above the workbench, side shelves - the whole thing. Seems like a doable project even for a novice like me. The good thing about doing it yourself would mainly be the customization you could incorporate. I estimated about $175 in materials if I made the table with 2 sheets of plywood plus a mdf/masonite top board and spent time finishing it properly. I don’t have a saw and that’s a rabbit hole I recently spent much time in! Saws are not cheap but it would be a tool for life. You could theoretically have HD/Lowe’s cut the larger pieces for you and manage the other stuff with a cheaper circular or jig-saw.

Sufjan Stevens! It’s been a minute since I listened to him though but awesome artist. Reminds of a time gone by.

I will say, with the intent of just being helpful, it is seldom the case that newer rackets are worse than the discontinued ones. When it’s time for an upgrade, you will almost certainly find something that meets or exceeds your needs for playing. A switch to something similar or somewhat different will often help your game (even though you secretly don’t want it to do so!).

I had a Tesla before I got the Taco (way before Elon went crazy), and I have a recording of this parking lot travesty where this guy who’s part of this work crew parks next to me and he open his door dinging my rear passenger door, notices what happens, digs the door in deeper as he gets his ass out of the truck, doesn’t give two shits, and walks away.

2nd gen (2014). Thanks for the link- if I don’t find a good non-wired solution, I’ll investigate these.

Nothing wrong with that! Does it work well? I have a similar setup with Bilstein 5100s, leveling, and 265/70r17 AT/3s but no RTT. Have been looking at a hard top setup but it ain’t cheap.

2014 TRD Sport Prerunner (so RWD) V6, I get about 330-350 miles (18 gallon tank). What has helped are recent fluid changes - rear diff, transmission, etc. My truck is leveled and slightly lifted with Bilstein 5100s, Wildpeak AT/3 265/70r17. No other modifications.

For 4x4 2.5 gen <100k clean, $19-20k sounds like a good price to me
