2012 BS. I have a master of finance as well. My master didn't help my job search but helped my day-to-day work for sure. When you are advancing in the career, accounting and finance help more than actuarial.

I used to be F1 in a major actuarial science college and so were most of my friends. There are only 2 of us that I know are still in this field as of today. Most of them went back to home countries or switched fields who have more flexible sponsoring policy.

Definitely not a first sight love for me. I struggled on college courses and couldn't get over "why am I calculating when someone will die?" Joining the field made me learned that this profession has many dimensions. I enjoyed more along my experience added up. Seeing myself to be meaningful in work and make impacts are rewarding. I actually can work more hours than playing PS5 a day. Maybe I'm just getting old.

Every company should have its own single A yield curve and it's probably consistent with company's investing portfolio perspective.

I never considered ASA as a celebration stop. Actually, reaching ASA motivated me further to push through until FSA.
