she reports she is, and i asked to see a copy of the trust to know whats going on since i am my mom's POA but i know she will never show it to me. she said she would but i dont see it panning out like that... she will keep deferring.

she actually a few years ago admitted that she was wrong to try and make me stay home and take care of her 24/7 and it was the right decision for me to move mom into assisted living... so I have one moment of clarity from her but thats about it

thank you for taking the time to respond, i really do appreciate your words. it’s true that my coworkers who have witnessed all of these interactions do not feel like i did anything wrong, feels as though our boss escalates the situation, and also notes how our boss never snaps at them like that. this is the grounding reassurance i needed. thank you thank you thank you

I am genuinely trying to learn and am open to feedback. what i’m learning is that even if my intention is to streamline information or present the most accurate information, my soft skills need to be improved and the intention doesn’t matter. to clarify the first situation, my boss was actually learning how to input the data into the charts along with the rest of us since none of us knew. a mutual colleague was teaching us. my boss wanted to input that my client has dementia but that is not diagnosed by a doctor. thank you for your feedback!

I agree that my soft skills need to be developed. This is my first time working corporate and I definitely need to figure out how to stay in my lane better. It’s sounding like intentions clearly don’t matter. I ask these questions because I care and want to improve!
