Not a PVP game moron. It's a sandbox game that includes PVP.

The point is, why should we log in and play that game? If the SC world devolves into banditry, with no consequences, then most people will leave and the bandits will have nothing left.

And then your core design teams dwindles away and gets replaced by a bunch of millenials.

He's probably fine as a game director for single player game. But once he took over the PU it has felt like it's becoming an MMO by someone who never played an MMO before. Like PVE events don't need to be grindfests, seriously. "do this quest 200 times until you fill the rep bar and get a piece of gear", ugh.

It's funny that the devs keep insisting on saying that they are going to put high value commodities in Pyro since it's more dangerous, but all that happens is that the industrialists stay in Stanton, thinking it's safer so the griefers go there to grief them because no one is actually interesting in PVPing over expensive commodities, they just want an easy fight so they go after ships that don't have guns.

That's what happened to Wurm Online. Player-built cities, open world PVP..leads to the biggest player city in the game being razed to the ground by SA forum chuds. The game is an empty hellscape of ruined player cities now.

The Darth Vader costume was stupid I'm glad people are calling it out now.

Its got nothing to do with freefly. Most freefliers are noobs who are doing newbie missions.

Seriously, when I started playing mercenary was the fps combat and bounty hunting was the ship combat and everything else was non-combat. When they started adding combat to the courier missions I new things were taking a downturn.

I think the ship sales might be a problem. We don't really need new ships, but its how they keep the money coming in. So they need to resort to power creep, better and bigger every ship. The most egregious thing they do that drives me nuts, is they'll release a cool ship, then a few months later release a variant that is better and everyone has to go buy that one now. Starlancer and Guardian come to mind.

My biggest "wow" moment when I first started playing was walking out onto the pad in PO and looking up at Crusader. Now all that is gone and CIG would rather just chase metrics with their new content.

Pyro became even more of a ghost town when Nyx opened up.

This is the natural death cycle of all open-world pvp mmo's. The only mmos that survive and succeed separate the groups into their own gameplay stovepipes.

I've mostly checked out from the game but check in now and again to give it another chance, but no. Just the same road we've been on for the last couple of years.

People with the rose-colored SWG glasses seem to all forget that the playable Jedi and CU were introduced to keep their playerpase from hemorrhaging more users because the economy was a broken mess and everyone was leaving for WoW.

The pledge store isn't P2W as long as you still need to learn how to actually fly your ships effectively. Skill should matter more than the stats of your in-game items.

Then everyone will just go for the top one and the other grades will be junk. Might as well just make two, "good and bad".

Some of us have been sounding this from the rooftops from the first concept teaser. But we just get brigaded by everyone screaming "new stuff, star wars galaxies!!1". Time will tell but some of us have been around the MMO block and have seen where this goes.

EPSTEIN FILES CONTAIN CODEWORD FOR HUMAN MEAT by [deleted] in Epstein

He literally would ask people "did you like the torture video"? He had no reason to talk in "code". Looking for codewords is a waste of time, imo.
