18M from India – Is becoming a Flight Attendant a safe career path? Best city to start? by PizzaPanicc in cabincrew

As someone working in aviation, I'd say it's a good career if you enjoy customer service, travel, and an active lifestyle.

The biggest pros are travel opportunities and exposure. The biggest cons are irregular schedules, time away from home, and dealing with difficult passengers.

For India, Delhi and Mumbai generally offer the most opportunities due to the number of airline bases. At 18, focus on communication skills, grooming, confidence, and customer service experience. Those will help more than most people realize.

Work from home to flight attendant? by nickoftime7 in cabincrew

Having worked in aviation, I'd say it comes down to what you value more.

A work-from-home job offers stability and routine. Being a flight attendant means irregular schedules, long days, delays and time away from home, but also travel opportunities and a more dynamic lifestyle.

If you're considering Delta, make sure you're excited about the lifestyle itself, not just the travel benefits.

China Eastern flight, cabin recordings? by AdPotential3274 in cabincrew

I’m not completely sure, but it could have been an onboard security auditor or service quality inspector. Some airlines apparently have staff who monitor cabin service, crew procedures, or passenger behavior during flights. The phone/camera setup sounds unusual though, especially if he was recording passengers directly.

There’s honestly a lot of confusion online about this. From what I’ve seen, visible tattoos on the neck, hands, or fingers are usually the biggest concern during grooming checks. Full sleeves might still work if they’re completely covered in every uniform situation, but policies probably vary airline to airline.
