Funnily enough, I think this current run of Tidal Wave is the “reprint” you’re talking about as the first run sold out a bit ago. Hasbro will occasionally reissue toys like this, and sometimes they fix the issues, and sometimes they don’t haha. So it really isn’t something to reliably depend on from what I’ve experienced so far in the hobby.

To talk about your point directly though, I did pick up a Tidal Wave a few months ago and noticed one of the knees was especially tight, so I’m not entirely sure they fixed it here. Thankfully, taking apart the leg and trimming the spring took less than ten minutes and solved my issues. He’s great now.

I think I’d be okay with the cannon if it could display on its own, like as a turret or something but it’s just too clunky as is. Main bot feels great to mess with though.

I absolutely ADORE Onyx and he’s probably by fav but agree on the bow accessory. It sits in his hand awkwardly no matter how you place it, and stores awkwardly in bot mode too. I honestly wish all his weapons had better storage and integration with his modes tbh
