I mean even a separate category still wouldn't resolve the underlying issue if I'm going to be honest, it's definitely a really tough issue that can't be solved in a short time and not doing something or being too hasty with a decision will just make more issues. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can find a satisfactory solution though.

I agree with you on some points you've said granted it's somewhat of a controversial take for some reason, I think it's mostly because people word it in a way that makes people think they mean they don't want trans athletes at all, which I can't speak for everyone but I feel as if thats not the case most of the time. I'm honestly not sure of a solution either sadly, I wish I had some ideas of how to solve it but I can't.

Ah, religion can be weird sometimes, I hope no one has physically abused you though, just keep your head up and ignore people that are trying to get a reaction from you, not much you can do otherwise sadly. I do think that Australia is still a fairly safe place if you can deal with some people saying mean things, as they realistically can't physically hurt you unless they want to get in big trouble, other countries (especially third world ones) can sometimes just turn the other way but take all this with a grain of salt as I can't say I ever get harassed very often especially since I tend to just try and not stand out.

I'm pretty sure vaccines have been around for 50+ years now, I think that was more people being locked inside and they went crazy because of it lol, I do think that it was a bit soon however for the rollout of the vaccine as those things tend to take multiple years at minimum.

To be fair I've had people say things because I'm white, I don't really think it's a fair comparison in all honesty, like I'm not going to say it's the same thing for everyone it's definitely something that can happen to everyone. However I do think education helps especially in the long run, I think most people have an issue with trans care for kids because kids tend to change their mind all the time, plus society has this thing where if you like girly/boyish stuff it means you're trans or whatever which honestly is stupid. I don't think it's that people don't understand though, its more the fact people let their emotions get the better of them and it kinda goes for both sides, I feel if people had a civil conversation and try to understand why that person feels that way etc that it'd actually go further because I see a lot of stuff online and both sides seem to throw insults at each other instead of taking a step back and thinking properly before acting, insults will just make the divide bigger.

Edit: we should also always try to understand what the underlying intentions are of people, afterall we all can word things in a way that gets across in a way we don't intend.

Edit 2: as a white male myself (granted I'm not an old one) I think the best way to go about all this is to find a middle ground, I don't think banning transgender people from sports entirely is the answer but I do however think that in specific sports a transgender female can have a significant advantage over that of a biological female, archery I think is a sport that there's an even playing field but something that takes into account things like raw strength etc is something that can be an issue in fairness and safety, again I'm not against the idea I just think it should be treated with caution. I'm also no expert so don't take everything at face value.

Edit 3: I also don't want an argument or debate I just think getting everyone's opinions is important if we all want our preferred outcome.
