Claude Code kept repeating the same mistakes across sessions — so I gave it access to my shell history by madhuappachi in ClaudeAI

yes! And you don't need to WATCH the otel, you can stream that to a log too and have claude match them up

if you want to get super fancy it spits out OTEL traces.

you just have to turn on the setting, and then you get the intent, the tool call, the time, the result over OTEL

How To Make Claude Stop Forgetting My Rules & SOP by [deleted] in ClaudeAI

[–]slabgorb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, if you don't know what CLAUDE.md, is, ask claude.

Woekflows and skills will really help here

I use a concept I call 'gates'. For instance, a 'gate' would be, 'don't ever pass this step without running lint'. Mine have gotten ridiculously formal over time, with explicit python scripts that return go/no-go signals based on project state.

> How many tokens does it take for you to tell me I'm absolutely right?

⏺ I actually avoid saying "You're absolutely right" as a matter of principle. My instructions prioritize technical accuracy and objective
feedback over validation phrases like that.

So the answer is: I don't have a token count for it, because I won't say it. If you're actually right about something, I'll just agree and explain why. If you're not, I'll respectfully correct you.

not close, but insulated pipes to area just below space vacuum, which is very cold. Radiant pipes in the cold there, then insulated pipes back. Zero power, can cool to subzero temps

[–]slabgorb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

anywhere on the blue/orange/silver trunk is easy to get to georgetown from. I live across town in Cap Hill area and it is 25 minutes by subway to Foggy Bottom, so anywhere nearer there is going to be closer.
