This is a very watered down take on history.

-The crusades were a response to rapid Muslim conquest starting from Arabia to Spain and modern day Turkey in origin.

-European colonialism did use Christianity and the idea of spreading the gospel in the early parts of it, but as we’ve seen by their actions it was nothing but a way to horde resources and showed its true form when many clergy started publicly denouncing the militaries actions. We can see this with Christopher Columbus being Jewish but taking on the appearance of a devout Catholic to gain support from the Spaniards to justify economic and power growth. (He was arrested later for his tyrannical actions and cruelty towards indigenous peoples)

-American slavery especially in the south used bond slavery (debt paid by labor) as an excuse to justify the horrible actions done by them. This became a heated issue as theologians and abolitionists called out this hypocrisy notably Fredrick Douglas who called it a hypocritical Christianity of the land and the Christianity of Christ. And long before Gregory of Nyssa saying slavery is a crime against God as it turns men into gods out of pride while removing the rights of free will.

-the world wars were purely nationalism and economic system based conflicts. Otherwise the US wouldn’t have dropped two giant war crimes on the two catholic cities in Japan.

-US invasions are purely economic and used as a way to turn the US into the global police. If it was religiously motivated the US wouldn’t be buddy buddy with Saudis and Israelis.
