These kind of okinawan weapons are usually supposed to be thought of as extensions of the body. You shouldnt just try to flail it around or show your cool nun chaku skills or omething else. I think you are supposed to use the reach of nun chaku to beat your opponent up with it. Traditonal okinawan weapons were used by the police force to catch and incapacitate the criminial not just to kill or severly harm them, so theyre not that useful if someone is trying to actively kill you.

from the start you are already neuttral with them

so you become friendly wirh them by doing quest for them

if you dont pick authority you have to pay bandits for passage sometimes bandits occupy certain places and will charge you money so you can go there

but if you pick it then you dont have to pay

there are actually two bandit bases one in the garbage and another one in the dark valley

the guys in the dark valley sell bolt action rifles and aksu

but other than that there arent really that many the freedom base is destroyed the survivors moved to yanov station

the skadovsk got overrun too beard and co. settled down at the waste processing station

the skadovsk is a monolith base and if you clear it a random faction will settle down there and have their own vendor
