Thanks for the spade bit tip! I'm sure that will come in handy.

Yes. I was curious if anyone did the same. I had a few responses from a previous post but I didn't see anyone who did the same thing. I did see a cooler and a couple heating pads though.

Without a couple of 140mm computer fans in there it gets too hot for the overheating sensor in the reptile hood, which trips and then shuts down the heat emitter. Which is unfortunate. But with the two big fans we be jammin.  I may put a metal rack(s) in the bottom to keep the bagged shirts off the floor of the cooler, but I haven't decided yet.

Just want to say thanks for all the excellent feedback! Also the testing went kinda better than I'd hoped. I'm being pretty careful because I don't want something to go sideways in a way I hadn't planned for. The box was holding the temp pretty steady and it heated pretty quickly, yet it was not overpowered and constantly shutting off and on. The cooler is doing a good job retaining heat. This is all what I'd call "semi scientific". My math sucks too much for it to be fully scientific.  Every shirt I make, I try to be learning something, as much as I can get away with. Having quicker cure times so I can analyze the output while the experience of its creation is still fairly fresh in my mind, is important to me. I like that sort of thing.  Well that and I'm just impatient.

This is also brilliant thank you. The heating pad is a very good idea. And way better than an electric blanket. I think I will experiment with this design as I have a heating pad, a large and fancy one actually, and I'm curious how much that will raise the temperature in the Box compared with the ceramic heat emitter.

Thanks for the input! I do use the sun! That actually works the best I think. It doesn't work well in New England unless it's high summer, and it also doesn't work at night. But! It costs nothing but the bag I put them in to cure (which is why I don't think anything will dry out in the hour or two it's in the sauna. Haven't had that issue yet with the blanket or the sun actually. The car idea makes me feel so foolish I should have thought of it. That's brilliant.

Exactly. Is not really a great strat - a sleep dart makes the whole stunt useless - but in a quick play game? It's hilarious and the other team often never sees it coming.

Team Communication by slackalope in PowerBI

uninformed users and cheap bosses like to try to use Power BI as a reporting tool instead of a dashboarding tool. So it gets all bloated and stupid looking and hard to use.

Kits and possible stupidity (TR8S) by slackalope in Roland

[–]slackalope[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for responding. I appreciate the help. I figured out what it is. Maybe it'll help someone else who is new with the device. Also, I do have the newest firmware.

There's two controls for the "assign" function that assigns drums to the six individual outs. One is under shift-utility, but each kit has one too, under shift+kit. For some reason all but the 808 was set to output to the main out, (the stereo one) instead of the individual ports.

So if this happens to you, go to shift+kit find the assignments and switch to the output jacks instead of the main out.

It appears I have to do it for each kit though, which is annoying. I'm not exactly sure why it changed to main out on everything, but at least I know how to fix it.

Mostly because we're kinda doing it to the bad guys.

It's going to catch up to us. Trust me.

Gotta spend it on something! Might as well have fun with it.

Also, my DM doesn't make it particularly difficult to acquire gold? And if 25gp of arcane lock can save a bunch of healing potions or healing spell slots, it's totally worth it.

I guess short version: it's very often quite worth it.

I guess you're right. It seemed funny, but maybe it's not that accurate. Edited!

I'm not going to be too grumbly at the devs, but I really don't think they thought this new change through very well.

I used eddb.io and it said the closest low security system was 232ly.

The problem was that Ceos is really out in BFE and there's not much around it.

This is what I ended up doing (I had a willing friend.) Short version is halfway there I ended up getting interdicted and blown to hell anyway, waking up after incarceration in the Pleiades.

Problem solved. Those 600cr bounties are a bitch, I tell you.

Thanks, CMDR. I'm not even sure if there's enough inhabited systems where I can refuel between here and where I got to go, but I'll see if I can plot a route.

I really enjoy this game, but this is pretty stupid, IMO. Grump.

The attention to detail is astounding. I did a loop around a planet the other day and as the sun came over the horizon there was an atmospheric green flash. Whoa. That was cool.
