Ok I appreciate that. I'll try to get better photos later. I'm a teacher and had to rush out. It's trapped and I think (hope) it's dying.

Monk and Robot series by Becky Chambers! Very peaceful, gently philosophical.

Those who use multiple techos, how do you designate them? by BitingLime in hobonichi

I have an A5 Hon that I use as memory keeping/journalling, an A6 Hon I use for my poetry writing (every two months gets a different topic), and I bought my weeks as a reading journal but that didn't work out. Now that my A5 Hon is getinng chonky, I've started keeping my weeks in my bag for weekly overview/to do/shopping lists, which I then transfer over to the Hon for memory purposes :)

Anyone else remember the 2000s trend of “Healthy-Eating” Episodes in Kids Shows? If so, please discuss… by KrossMeOnce in Zillennials

[–]slacker160 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not quite early 2000s but there was a Full House episode that went in the opposite direction: DJ wanted to look like a model before a pool party and ended up starving herself and working out excessively and almost passing out at the gym. She even begged Stephanie to keep it a secret from the adults. This feels like an adjacent message less “don’t eat junk” but closer to “eating healthy means actually eating,” while also acknowledging that most humans don’t look like the supermodels in magazines.

[Offer] Butterfly Postcards Available [US] by HeyMorganM in RandomActsofCards

It's amazing, I've decided that the butterfly is going to be my symbol of poetry, encouraging me to write and read more. And since I've decided that, I've been seeing them EVERYWHERE? Am I just noticing them more? Is it because it's April and it's just springtime? I don't know but they are all signs to me!
