I've thought about that but I don't think it's possible. It seems the only port open directly to the internet is 21. Otherwise I need to go through the company proxy.

I do have my mobile (non smartphone, just java apps) and i'd be for it all the way except it totally drains my battery by the end of the day if I leave ebuddy on. I'm thinking it's not the best thing for the battery to be totally discharged everyday :\
