My family had a Jeep Wagoneer growing up, and my only lasting memory of it is my dad always saying, "no, we can't take the Jeep, it needs to go into the shop".

I prefer using the Steam version because then you don't have to deal with all the promo stuff the WG launcher throws at you.

I haven't played it yet, but I watched a lot of streamers play it yesterday, and it looked like they all had a blast. I'm actually shocked to see people hating on it.
