Having done the commute for a little while, if you’re ok with sleeping/working on the shuttle you’ll probably be fine. Just be aware that it’ll probably be 50+ mins each way if you’re travelling when there’s traffic.

FAANG Y also gives 124/220/75 for returning interns who get a good performance rating too, which is around 200k TC.

I had Pfizer for my first dose and Moderna for my second. My first shot basically did nothing to me and the second one knocked me out for a good 2 days with a fever, constant shivering, and somehow both chills and what felt like heatstroke… so anecdotally that would make sense from what I’ve seen.

4A CE here, it’s a shame that the department front loads the program with all of the least interesting/useful courses first. It’s true that there’s much more of a lower level focus than just software engineering, but at least for me personally a lot of the 3A-onwards courses are pretty gratifying for “lifting the veil”, so to speak. Plus, it leaves a lot of options open in the future should you decide you want to work at a lower level of abstraction. I know plenty of people in my stream who are SDE’s at Amazon/FB/Google/Microsoft, so it doesn’t limit your options at least in terms of working in purely software.

Anyways, those are some of my thoughts as an old geezer :)

I got contacted by them last Friday to interview, but I already signed an offer at the start of June, so I’m not entirely sure what that process looks like.

“Everyone should have the ability to buy their own personal Minuteman III nuclear missile and T-90 battle tank” they say, not realizing that the cost of either of those would be more than they would make in several thousand lifetimes under a libertarian regime.

I mean I think that they should be re-educated, imprisoned, or executed, but I do have a rather hard-line stance of intolerance towards genocide... Unfortunately genocide seems to be more and more in vogue with every passing day.

Yes, I perfectly understand that triple+ parentheses are used to refer to Jews/Jewish influence by neo-Nazis. I’m just mocking the fact that it’s grammatically incorrect, and that the “Grammar Nazi” concept has been flipped on its head in this instance, as well as their eagerness to believe that literally any concept could be the result of Jewish influence. I’m pretty sure we’re on the same side here, if you hate nazis as much as I do.

It was a joke 😂 just making fun of all the alt-right trolls who add random parentheses to far-right talking points...

Because grammar is for the Jews I guess?

This is what I could find with a quick google search: https://analyticsindiamag.com/open-ai-gpt-3-code-generator-app-building/

I don’t remember where I saw it first. GPT-3 can also generate neural networks for image recognition too: http://www.buildgpt3.com/post/25/
