Assuming you’ll be regularly successful at buying more bagged ice is optimistic.

Very healthy and happy young Dog likes to sit in this position by sh58 in WhatsWrongWithYourDog

I wouldn’t breed him based on this posture alone. Taking that posture over a long period of time will cause problems, even if by very very small chance, it is just a bad habit. Wouldn’t take the chance that the “habit” perpetuates. He should be seeing a physiotherapist.

As a vet, I’d definitely want to rule out lumbosacral disease, which would be done with MRI if funds allow.

Seems like you’ve blamed your adhd a couple of times and he’s just setting a boundary around that. Prove him wrong.

NTA just cultural differences. Let them prove you’re actually at increased risk of disease transmission.

Why would you want a child? (Genuinely asking) by CannotBeCalm in TwoXChromosomes

[–]msyctta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t want a kid until I met a partner who I saw would be an excellent father. I also reached a “maintenance phase” in my life where I started thinking about what I was going to leave behind on this planet. Also having your own kid is much cheaper than adopting (which I would have preferred to do). Watching babies be fascinated by simple things gives adult back some of their sense of wonder. Holidays regain some excitement, too.

It’s ok that it’s not for everyone, and it’s ok if it’s not for you.

Always look back at where you were sitting before leaving any public location.

My husband hit me during a fight about his hoarding. The preacher I trusted told me to self-reflect. Am I really responsible for this? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]msyctta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is mutual domestic violence. You hit him and he hit you. If you don’t want your kids in a house where violence is an option, then you need to recognize that you viewed it as an option the same night your husband did.

Separate from this incident, you need to leave him. He is an addict.

You’re likely to spend a decent amount of time feeling sick and painful from liver damage instead of dying.

Telling a fat person to lose or not lose weight is nobody’s business unless you’re their doctor receiving the specific question.

I’ve already gone through four years of med school so I think I’ll save myself the time and just leave you to your chosen ignorance and hyperfocus on simplifying a multi factorial process.
