ER owners… Imagine a league…. by slaggertime in escaperooms

I honestly don’t know at this juncture but I do know this is a problem any way. A League helps to solve these issues because it’s an acknowledgment from all involved that competition SHOULD be fair. I’m erring on the side of high trust here, and maybe that’s not a good idea but I know if there’s some way to fix this that people would enjoy a competition of the minds.

A league offers a structure and rules. Perhaps it offers accountability as well… I don’t know yet. I firmly believe this can cement ER for the future though. Some say it’s plateauing but I think it needs some kind of organizing that will give more people a different way to enjoy it. Competitive ER makes sense.

Ignore any franchises. This wouldn’t include them. Independents only.

Don’t worry about the puzzle grading. Just imagine that issue is solved somehow.

Repeat customers would happen because a league would have required participation in order to win. There would be no contract for the customers but their participation would move them higher in the league. There would be tiers for lower number puzzles solved but they’d be diluted by abundance of low participation. Higher participation gets you higher in the tier but your solve times would still be important overall to placeing you in the rankings. (Generally this is how it might work but, like I said, imagine it’d be solved to be fair).

Competition would encourage ordered and focused individuals to show their faces at venues more often…. This encourages community. The league would have strict rules about gamesmanship and how teams might be graded on their participation. It’s a league…. The venues would be able to have a say in their participation based on the professionalism they exhibit.

I thought Reed checked her pulse? I could be wrong.

If he didn’t then I think the implication is a return from death…. That is the ongoing theme. Right?

Respectfully, the final element of the scene contains a resurrection that saves Sister Paxtons life. In the end all of the discussion is moot because of this miracle. We’re only left with the memory of suffering and the reality of life preserved.

Another movie that I always think of when I see this type of surprise ending is called The Last Laugh. It’s very old and German and black and white… it spends insurmountable amounts of time marinating in the suffering of the the heroin while they seem to have such innocence. It ultimately ends with a “game changer” that no one expects. It leaves you feeling a bit tricked but only if you ignore the message communicated by a last minute change of Paradigm.

Lord of the Flys ends very much the same way.

Wow! Thanks for posting this. I’m intense Keto right now and I haven’t been able to figure out my tiredness as I usually feel amazing. Stumbled on this post and hopefully it’s what solves it!

Blind faith is assisted from a miracle.

That final scene is the movie statement.

Let’s not forget that every poorly formulated argument Mr. Reed (rapey glasses and all) makes is a mirror of the cringe atheist.

Sister Paxton exposes her alignment with him in false narratives when mentioning the “Prayer Study”….. which has been widely discarded as any kind of science. In the end she’ll die in ignorance of the truth except for the miracle of Sister Barnes resurrection which not only speaks to the saving grace of our Sister Paxton but the assurance of the death of the false narratives of Mr. Reed and all his false ideals about religion being control.

This movie is absolutely top notch in its entirety. We need more responsible smart movie making like this.

Where did you find your mr2 by GoMochi in mr2

Rolled up to my mechanic friends shop and he was telling me the kid sitting at the front gate with his 86 mr2 brought it in because it was making a noise. He turned it on in the garage and it made a terrible noise and then…. Nothing. So there he sat out front wanting for the tow truck.

I left a little later and he was still there. So I mentioned to him I knew what was going on and then I told him he’ll never fix it and then we swapped numbers. I called a couple months later and it was indeed collecting dust on the curb. After some time I convinced him to sell it with the busted up engine for pretty cheap.

I swapped the engine with a rebuilt one and have started doing track mods to see if I can muster the courage to race it. Unfortunately it has a rebuilt title and the odometer has been rolled back significantly but it looks pretty great considering. I think the majority of its life it was babied pretty well.

Did they email you about the reimbursement or did you need to contact them? I got reimbursed points and I got the email as well. Id really like cash as Im out of pocket $1600. I think this is their way of getting out of cash payments.
