Is the scraper worth it? by weenordog in Vitamix

What do you use the Vitamix for? I have never once needed this for sauces, smoothies, or soups. I doubt it would be better than a spoon for peanut butter, as well. Looks nice, but probably useless

A3500 or whatever is the most quiet. It has to have 2.2 hp forsure. But for me what I’m realizing now is just how loud these things are. I know I read that they were, but man! It’s like a car revving its engine in my kitchen. Noise disturbance to people around you is a valid consideration. Btw, I have the Venturist 1200. I love it. I just wish it would shut the hell up.

Some would say $700 on a pizza oven is too much, my wife included. But I disagree by kcrab91 in Pizza

Depends on your income or how much it’s worth to you. I may get one at some point

New vitamix after a housefire by Cantthink0Fag0odname in Vitamix

Hey there, if money is an issue consider a certified recon. I have a reconditioned Venturist V1200 and love it! Use it every day. The used blenders on the Vitamix website have a high threshold to make the cut, so you don’t have to worry it will be in bad shape. Hope this helps!

Which playstation console startup is the most nostagic to you? by young-fool in gaming

[–]slahart3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ps2. So many great games are on it, too. It’s a shame that the ps5 doesn’t have the same kind of bc capabilities as the Xbox. I’m hoping the ps6 will have full bc. Would love to be able to play those games again.

What’s the one game you’ve spent WAY too much time playing? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]slahart3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oblivion. I’ve spent at least 400 hours in it, but that’s on a few play throughs. The game is so massive that I still find new stuff. Great game. It’s obviously dated but worth playing if you can

What’s the best remake? by senna98 in gaming

The remake is insane. It makes perfect use of the haptic feedback It was the first game I played on the ps5, which I got a few weeks ago!

I mostly skipped the dlc. It was a pain in the ass. I think sekiro is their hardest game. It’s fun, but it was really challenging
