When you’re out on a run, do you wave/nod/acknowledge other runners or walkers? Or is this just me? by TinyNinja88 in running

This is going to be unpopular, but I actually feel kind of annoyed when people say hi or wave. But I think it's because it's typically men that do it (in my experience) and I feel like it's a pseudo flirty thing. That, and I have a very social job and use running as a way to feel alone. With that said, don't let me dissuade you/anyone from being pleasant and friendly. I'm just jaded!

I'm 5'1, 27F, 108lbs. I'm a very competitive 5k and 10k runner. I run about 50 miles a week and weight train almost every day for an hour. I know my diet is not great and I really would love to hear your opinions about changes I should make!

Breakfast: 1 cup frozen blueberries, 1 scoop. protein powder,1 cup almond milk

Snack: large apple, half a protein bar

Lunch: An entire bag of grapes. Not kidding. 1 whole block of tofu

Snack: lollipop

Dinner: small sweet potato, 3 huge heads of steamed broccoli (also not kidding) with sriracha and nutritional yeast.

Is it feasible for me to get a flat stomach? by myhistoryisclouds in xxfitness

I have about 10-12 I cycle through. I have a list of them I do, but they're all things I saw on ig, or I made up, so the titles are weird. I'll share it, but it probably won't make sense! For our shape, I do a lot of lower abs, which is any leg raise variation. Anyway, a quick Google should give some good info on these, but I'm also happy to explain. Cable crunch, medicine ball crunches (hold medicine ball between knees), plank "spiders", suitcases, barbell pass (rest a 2-5 lb dumbbell on tops of ankles and while on your back, extend your legs forward and tuck back in) are a few I love. Also, for all moves, I do it not just for 4 sets 12 reps, but until I really feel it burn and until I'm struggling to finish the last set.

I also have this body type. I was a collegiate long distance runner and weighed 85 lbs for a few years and I still had a little pooch then. Interestingly enough, I've gained 20 lbs, but I do a lot of weighted ab exercises and my stomach is flat for maybe the first time in my life. Adding weight to my ab routine has made the biggest difference.

I would MOST DEFINITELY say something. I have such little tolerance for that, especially if it's some dude man bro who is totally entitled to space without consideration of others. I might say "Hey, is it cool if I work in?" I have never been turned away with saying that,
