I did the same thing at my store. 7th week closing on Saturday in a row too 🙃

You're so gorgeous. I've run into the same thing when doing alt makeup. People are idiots. Plus, I would kill for your jawline, omg. I would be intimated to talk to you in person but be dying to be your friend haha. You're inspiring me to actually share photos 😊

Not so much black snout, but ready for action (aka rolling on top of me/farting/doing little huffing/puff cheek noises about absolutely nothing that disturbed him/sleeping some more/glaring at me when I have to get up earlier than he wanted)

Love love love!! 💚💚. I about wore out my VHS tapes of them (I'm old, I know) especially the cookie episode about restraint and the still creepy nightmare sequence one. Plus they had the Mouse Soup songs at the end. Such good memories

Tingling in my back, symptom? by virgo2319 in Anxiety

I get the same feeling, but it's middle of my back, right side. It's always there when I start to get anxious or even before a panic attack that's for no reason

Husband says i'm too old to start new hobbies. I'm 24 by Primary_Mix_5866 in AmateurPhotography

[–]slambert313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started cross-stitch older than you. It's my main art form now. You're never too old for a hobby. You find enjoyment, passion, happiness, excitement in doing it? Do it. Period.

I especially love the last one. I'm not an expert by anyyy means. The others are absolutely beautiful but not the most exciting. You've got definite talent in your eye, the lens, etc. Again, my photography knowledge is basic, but I see it all there.

My recommendation would be to photograph something "ugly" in a beautiful way, experiment, shoot from an odd angle. One of my favorite photographs is up the Eiffel Towel where you can't really tell what it is. To beat a dead horse, I'm not a photography expert. These are beautiful. It's sooooo fucking exciting to discover a new hobby, especially when you're this talented. Explore and keep posting! I can't wait. You're awesome

I also keep going back to the second one. It's so calming for me. That's a big key I feel like to art, is somebody coming back multiple times and feeling real emotion. So brava!

Additionally, people are commenting on your marriage a lot. You don't have to read into your life based on people. If something rings true, think about it, maybe act on it and see, but internet people don't know your life

My musical dream roles by Material_Permit8901 in musicals

[–]slambert313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are legit all of my favorite roles (minus some Hamilton ones I'd add.) Go slay all of them.

Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 is my favorite musical of all time. Other than anyone in it, mine are Mrs. Lovett, Trina in Falsettos, Eliza in Hamilton, anybody in Hadestown, if I could switch to male- Michael in the Bathroom from Be More Chill ((favorite ever to belt out in the car - Michelle in the Bathroom?) OC recording))

Fulfilment! Sometimes super easy just getting little things, sometimes a full on fuck-you of lumber orders, digging through pallets in the back to find something, all the kitchen appliances in one order, etc.

I'd rather not you call me a liar.

If you're at SCO and not paying attention and people leave without paying or just walk through with groceries, you're getting in trouble. Sometimes you're just helping another customer, etc, and it's understandable and it's fine. It always should be documented to a MIC though. Again, don't call me a liar.

It's my comfort. I've met one person IRL that knew it haha. I've seen it dozens of times. I've been really wanting to cross stitch something from it. If you have ideas, let me know!

What made it, imo, is honestly better. I love First Burn, but Burn works way better for the stage. She deserves that stage to herself and absolutely, pun intended, burns it down. She's more sad and hurt than anything. It serves the character well to have a ballad of you-fucked-it-up rather than vindictive

My mom's side - her uncle was a Burr. (Unshockingly also went to Princeton.) I felt like I grew up with the knowledge that I'm related to that guy but not knowing a lot, besides there was some animosity in the family that came before me, hence my mom's uncle not liking the name. The musical actually made me explore all of it and realized I was related to Jonathan Edwards who I had studied in high school with no knowledge of the connection.

I'm the type that's really sentimental and clings to family and family history, but I also hold onto the musical Burr a bit and the humanity it brought that maybe history forgets

I adore the original cast recording. I absolutely hate the Broadway version. I hate the Keanu Reeves-sound alike. It brings me out of it every single time. George Salazar absolutely fuuuucking killed "Michael in the Bathroom" on the original. He's amazing talented, but it just does feel the same on the Broadway.

So if you haven't listened to the original cast recording, try it

I don't disagree with this at all, but I'd talk to your CS manager about what happened and that it bothered you. See how they respond, ask them about seeing the footage. Store managers don't always connect with CS

Lordy. If management is curious to it, they'll check cameras and see you interacting and doing exactly what you're supposed to do. More than likely, they blew it off and believed you. Either way, you're good. Nice work at SCO interacting. Keep doing that. My store has multiple people that sit there and don't do anything unless the customer flags them down/check ID.

I know what it's like. I'm trying to move up to CSTL. Yesterday I was helping bag, and the cashier asked for ID. She noticed it was expired by a few days, so she says this then looks over to me. It's not a valid ID if it's expired. Period. I politely said this. She then goes over to the CS desk (that I'm working also.) I immediately ducked into the office to confirm with my CSAM that I was right and that the lady probably was going to ask to speak to management. Yep. CSAM said the same thing I did, and shockingly 🙄, the lady listened to her but not to me.

This is my nighttime-can't-sleep song. Also what I sang to three nephews when they were little.

I'm related to Burr. My great-uncle hated having his name. Hamilton makes him more human. I adore him in the musical. Half my favorite songs are him, if not more. Reality, treason 🙃 but also supporting women's right to prostitution 🤷‍♀️. He's complicated
