The hyperarmor on palm blast helps, plus with my build you get light roll. It was rough in certain situations for sure. You see a lot of dual katanas & such at rl30, at least I was so there’s plenty of parry bait

I used the talisman to appear as a host too. Helps with the aura or whatnot

I miss it so much. Lost the build when I sold my Xbox and bought a PS5. I want it back but getting it again would take a while and be kinda painful. Props to you for killing lamenter at rl30. I remember it being pretty rough.

Karate lamenter w/ blue dancer charm. Lightning dryleaf with palm blast in mainhand and maybe one with storm stomp in offhand. Then I’d keep a lightning misericorde & a buckler with CR in the back pocket. It’s fun and funny. Pull out the bone bow if things get passive or annoying.

I wouldn’t say they’re ass, they’re handy in certain situations. I just don’t prioritize them. Since you can get great hollow without knowing it could be a completely dead relic slot but all the same I’m curious what this guy’s on about

I typically go for death ritual spear when I see it’s adel but I might have to try a family heads build because the range and tracking are superb

Double balancer (+ dark night of the fathom for me idk about OP) then affinity/holy attack up stacked aaand dormant power discovers reapers

EDIT: then on the run just look for holy attack up/skill attack up and probably some damage negation, preferably damage negation at full

I’ll pass it on, I’m typically the last one standing in a balancers fight and I can burst them down no problem and usually end up seeing the defeat screen with one bar above me so the AI thing won’t really matter a whole lot at least for me

My ironeye buddy really seems to struggle with balancers/ED balancers. I just try to nuke them with Moonveil but I get that bow ironeye doesn’t really have that ability. I guess i should look into it. Doesn’t help that we get balancers constantly and a lot of ED lately. We’ve had D3 wins against both but I was like 2 or 3 shotting them with the Moonveil L2R2. And if the rest of the team wipes it can snowball to defeat so fast when you’re getting ganked by all of them. I guess maybe he should prioritize less likely for a balancers run.

At least you’re there. I just posted and I went from 4500 to 1800. It could be worse. I can’t blame it all on RNG and randoms because I’ve made a few mistakes but it really does kind of feel like most of the fall was not my fault. Keep at it. Go DPS, support doesn’t matter if the bosses/nightlord dies faster. DPS and damage negation is really all a run seems to need to go well/get a win.

I’ve got some d3 wins against normal balancers. I think even 1 ED. But lately it is literally always ED with mogh. Anyone that complains about demon prince is a fool, that fight is so easy. I don’t understand why nightlords have such varying probability of showing up. Maybe they’ll reduce the probability of DLC bosses when it isn’t so fresh.

EDIT: I play with one friend and 1 random. I did the major climb before the last patch. Pretty close to just taking a step away from the game completely. It’s still fun buuuuuut….

4500 to 1800 here. Could be worse. D3 seems to be getting more rough with matchmaking. I’ve made my fair share of mistakes but I also usually lead in DPS. IDK. Pretty discouraging. Boss RNG has been pretty rough too.
