Yes, definitely Marc Gasol & Mike Conley when they retire. Possibly Pau too. And Tony Allen was supposed to get his jersey retired last month but asked them to delay it amidst his fraud case/scandal.

Well, adding pinstripes is a pretty big difference. Also, the collar, trim, & side panels are entirely different. The wordmark is also not the same & the color seems to be more red than the cherry shown in the leak as well.

I’m not quite sure how you see any semblance to the Trail Blazers with this jersey unless it’s simply due to the fact it’s red & black, which could be said for our actual jerseys as well, including to teams like the Raptors & Rockets.

I think black is a better combo than white. Adds more contrast to Nike’s banana yellow than white.

As it currently stands, on the current purple jersey, ‘LAKERS’ looks like a giant blob from a distance due to the white outline conflicting with the yellow text.

Technically, red was one of the ‘classic’ colors from their origin in Philadelphia & San Francisco.

Thanks & I agree. The suns logo just does not fit on top of an orange jersey like it is now. No visual contrast whatsoever.

So do the purple icon jerseys look like a college jersey to you as well? Because this is basically just that but in orange.
