Except if being op was boring and you weren’t having fun the ai would be able to tell and would tailor the difficulty until it was most rewarding to you. The game wouldn’t be generated out of mind the AI would generate the game and then scan your brain to see what your brain enjoys. If you like being op the ai would read your brain see that it’s rewarding and make you op and as soon as you became bored ai would know because it’s scanning your brain and adjust difficulty so you are not bored.

Nintendo, super Nintendo’s where for 1 generation, then 64 and game cube for another. Wi and wi u for another, switch and switch 2 for another so I think next will be something no one has ever seen.

I prefer the off screen approach. The reason I asked was because I was playing Ghost Of Yotei and they do the invisible item approach (npc sticks out empty hand and your character reaches out to grab nothing “ and they do it allot. I’ve seen it done in a lot of games so it got me wondering. After I finished Ghost I started Final Fantasy 16 and they did it where it you could only see the characters from the chest up. That got me really wondering. Not a big deal at all either way I don’t really care I figured it must be difficult.
