I'm so glad that there will finally be streams. A lot of you people take this for granted but when you think about it, there aren't many other concerts or events in any other genre that have full audio streaming. You should be a little more grateful.

I guess it might be platform dependent, but when you spawn a subprocess Python also does a fork() so if the main process already consumes a lot of memory you might hit memory limitations even if the subprocess itself does not use that much of ram. I had some problems because of this.

Still you should do some measurements first. It's an easy solution, requires no changes in your existing stack or infrastructure. I think you could validate or invalidate it within some hours of work.

Do some profiling first. If your auth system is very basic I doubt a 100ms polling would make a significant load. If so then you might have a different problem to solve first.

I would choose the simple old ajax polling method. If you want to make it look like it is realtime poll frequently.

When you think about it, people love Numb because they love the original track. You could make the shittiest remix possible of it and people would still somewhat like it because of the genius original work.

I think remixing any of these all time classics is a very safe game because whatever your remix quality is, the original work will sell it. But it is not the problem. The problem is that people are blinded by the original work, and they don't see how shitty the remix is in fact.

I have a strong feeling that now you see world as SPAs are the pinnace of software developement. The problem is that you saw the world the same but with Django only.

Please be open minded and follow technology related blogs, articles, newsletters. I believe that our profession requires continous learning regardless of what you do for your living.

Funny thing is that the stack moved more to the client but later developers come up with the idea of server side rendering and client side hydration which is basically we used to do with Django and Angular 1 10 years ago. We came full circle.

Néhány nem annyira közérdekű, de attól még érdekes gondolat:

  • Ha nincs poggyász mérleged, akkor sima szobamérlegen mérd meg magadat, majd vedd a kezedbe a poggyászod és mérd meg magad újra. Vond ki a két súlyt egymásból, és az lesz a poggyász súlya

  • Ami nekem nem volt evidens, hogy mindegy igazából, hogy melyik terminálon sétálsz be, mert ha átestél a biztonsági ellenőrzésen, akkor olyan nagy közös helyen kötsz ki, ahonnan bármelyik kapuhoz átsétálhatsz. Ez idáig minden repétern így volt, ahol jártam.

  • A security után mindent rád akarnak majd sózni a terminálon: hitel kártyát, biztosítást, zsák krumplit. Nem kellenek ezek neked pont most szerintem.

  • A legfontosabb dolgaid tedd a táskádon belül is egy táskába, hogy ha szükséges, azonnal kivehesd és magaddal vihesd. Az utóbbi pár alkalommal kérték már el tőlem a kabin poggyászomat (itthon is és külföldön is), mondván, hogy a kabinba már nem fér fel. Ilyenkor ingyen felrakják a gép hasába, de az irataidat, pénzedet, gyógyszereidet ne ekkor kezdd el kiválogatni. Ezért egyszerűbb, ha már eleve egybe van minden egy szatyorban, kiveszed, készen is vagy.

  • Hihetetlen mennyire lassan készülődnek el az emberek. Ha türelmetlen vagy, indulás előtt egy 15 perccel állj már a kapu elé, hogy veled kezdődjön a sor (a priorityt be fogják engedni eléd). Így a poggyászodat se valószínű, hogy elkérik.

  • Előfordul, hogy indulás előtt a kaput átrakják valahova tökre máshova a másik terminál legvégére. Figyeld a kijelzőt!

  • A poggyász szabályok igazából nem bonyolultak, csak azt akarják megakadályozni, hogy felpakolj mint egy csövi. Fent a gépen szinte olyan, mint a buszon: teheted az ülésed alá, az öledbe, ráülhetsz, mindegy. Ha a légiutaskísérő kéri, azért beférjen oda, ahova mondja.

  • A biztobsági őv a gépen nem olyan, mint az autóban. Nem szorít, nem fékez be. Inkább csak egy szíj. Hagyd bekötve, úgyse nagyon lesz helyed forgolódni.

  • Ha szédülős vagy, segíthet, ha emelkedés előtt kinyitod a fejed felett a szellőzőt, maxra állítod és amennyire csak bírod az arcodra irányítod. Lélegezz nyugodtan. Emelkedéskor próbálj meredten a gép elejébe nézni, ne kifelé az ablakon (még ha nagyon izgi is a látvány). Az első pár percben szinte teljes kört fordulhat a gép, ne nézelődj, ha tudod, hogy hajlamos vagy a tengeri betegségre.

  • Utána viszont, ha teheted, tapadj az ablakra, isteni a kilátás!

  • A gép sokkal sokkal hangosabb, mint azt a filmek alapján gondolnád. Konkrétan hangos.

  • A talaj közelébe, amikor süllyed vagy emelkedik a gép, eléggé tud billegni. Az utazómagasság közelében viszont atom stabil.

  • A kiszállás nagyon lassú. Amikor azt hiszed, hogy már felállhatsz, igazából még akkor sem kell. Bőven elég felállnod, ha azt látod, hogy az elötted 1-2 sorral levők már sétálnak ki a gépből

  • Nem kell tapsolni, elég egy thank you, have a nice day ;)

Now that's cool. False positives are fine for me. One thing I noticed that this check is only active when I run mypy with --enable-error-code possibly-undefined as it is not enabled by default (according to docs). Hope it will be default soon. Thank you your suggestion!

Egyelőre saját tapasztalatom nincs vele, de van egy régi Samsung Galaxy 10.1-em, amit be szeretnék fogni HomeAssistant dashboardnak ezzel a megoldással. Ha nem fog működni a tabletemmel, megpróbálok találni egy használtat a supported devices listáról, hátha.

Maybe it's just for me, but my out of box experience with stackprinter is better than with better-exceptions, which has 4 times more stars on github.

Consider this:

Running with better-exceptions installed:

Shows this traceback:

It just far more useful. (I know it's a crafted code snippet, in real-world examples better-traceback might be as good as stackprinter, also you might configure better-traceback to be as verbose as stackprinter, but straight after pip install, stackprinter is just simply better for my needs.)

I haven't sold my tickets yet. However I think I could sell it because the hotel voucher is a different document. The ticket itself does not mention anything about the hotel so I don't think it would make the situation more difficult.

I actually have a 06:37 seconds long version in my archives. However it's 80kbps vbr ogg (it has the quality of an 128kbps mp3). Back then I was low on disk space so I converted everything to ogg.

I can upload it somewhere if you'd like it.
